Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,794 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 312 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 34 at Zakynthos International Airport Dionysios Solomos, where the Boeing 737-800 took off with a takeoff distance of 1,404 meters, which was 77% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 162 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 5 knots at 46 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 4 knots and a headwind of 2 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it started its enroute climb overhead Gaitanion in the Ionian Islands, Greece. The climb from 1,159 feet above sea level to 36,674 feet above sea level was a significant increase of 35,515 feet in just 19 minutes, covering a distance of 121 nautical miles. Following the climb, the aircraft entered its enroute level cruise, which started 5 miles northeast of Zitsa in Epirus, Greece. This cruise phase lasted for 163 minutes, covering a distance of 1,175 nautical miles.
As the aircraft approached its destination, it began its enroute descent, starting 1 mile north of Billesdon in Leicestershire, England. The descent from 36,357 feet above sea level to 2,443 feet above sea level was a decrease of 33,914 feet in 35 minutes, covering a distance of 216 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another enroute level cruise, this time starting overhead Carnmoney in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, which lasted for just 3 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles. The final descent started 2 miles northeast of Randalstown in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland, and the aircraft descended from 2,497 feet above sea level to 1,490 feet above sea level in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 4 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 17 at Belfast International Airport was made from the north, heading 162.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,249 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 17 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 312 meters, which was good. However, the touchdown speed of 135 knots was a little fast, and the touchdown rate of -252 feet per minute was fair. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.1 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 16 knots at 90 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 15 knots and a headwind of 5 knots.
The total landing distance was 819 meters, which was 46% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.6 meters from the centerline. The taxiing to the parking from the runway took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 1,535 nautical miles, taking 230 minutes, and the aircraft used 8,971 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at EGAA Belfast International Airport, achieving a score of 96.8%. The final approach to runway 17 was initiated from the north, with a heading of 162.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,249 feet above ground level.
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 140 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 135 knots was slightly faster than ideal, which may have contributed to a fair touchdown rate of -252 feet per minute. The touchdown distance of 312 meters was within acceptable limits.
The landing was conducted in a local weather condition of 15°C temperature and a wind speed of 16 knots from a direction of 90°. This resulted in a crosswind of 15 knots and a headwind of 5 knots. The aircraft's ability to handle these wind conditions was satisfactory, considering the landing distance of 819 meters, which accounted for 46% of the runway length.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.6 meters from the centerline, which was a minor deviation from the ideal alignment. Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft's performance was satisfactory, given the prevailing weather conditions.
