Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,800 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 141 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, Kemble, in Gloucestershire, England, the DHC-2 Beaver lifted off runway 26 with a takeoff distance of 823 meters, utilizing 51% of the available runway. The aircraft achieved liftoff speed of 69 knots, clearing the ground with ease. Local conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 16 degrees Celsius and a gentle headwind of 1 knot from the west.
As the aircraft transitioned into the enroute climb phase, it began ascending from an initial altitude of 604 feet above sea level to 518 feet, a net gain of 86 feet over a period of one minute. This climb phase covered a distance of 2 nautical miles, demonstrating the aircraft's ability to efficiently gain altitude. The climb was initiated overhead the departure airport, marking the beginning of the aircraft's journey.
Upon approaching runway 08 at Cotswold Airport, the DHC-2 Beaver executed a final approach from the west, aligning itself with the runway at a heading of 80.0 degrees and an altitude of 97 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown distance of 139 meters and a speed of 62 knots. The touchdown rate of -160 feet per minute was also within acceptable limits, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The aircraft utilized 2 kilograms of fuel for the entire flight, which covered a total distance of 2 nautical miles and lasted for 2 minutes.
The final approach to runway 08 at EGBP Cotswold Airport from the west was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 80.0° at 0 nm and 97 ft above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height achieved. However, the threshold speed was slightly below the target, coming in at 66 kt. Despite this minor deviation, the touchdown distance was good, with the aircraft touching down at 139 m from the threshold.
The touchdown characteristics were also noteworthy, with a speed of 62 kt and a rate of -160 fpm, both of which were within acceptable limits. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway centerline. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 16 °C and a gentle wind of 1 kt at 270°, resulting in a negligible crosswind and a slight tailwind of 1 kt.
The overall performance of the landing was exceptional, with a score of 99.8%. The combination of good approach quality, precise touchdown alignment, and favorable weather conditions all contributed to a smooth and controlled rollout. The aircraft's ability to maintain a steady speed and rate of descent throughout the approach and touchdown phases was a testament to the pilot's skill and experience.
