Improve the pattern downwind leg
Spacing cues are relative to your eyepoint, so two simmers with different FOV settings following the same wingtip cue fly patterns half a mile different in width, and a wide FOV compresses depth so the runway on base looks further away than it is, biasing you towards a late turn. Pick a camera position and FOV, save it, and never change it, because every judgement you calibrate is calibrated to that picture.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.

The rest of the report
The Kodiak 100 departed Cotswold Airport (EGBP) from runway 08, using a take-off distance of 937 m which represented 52 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 83 kt. Ambient conditions were 15 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 269°, no cross-wind component and a 2 kt tail-wind.
The aircraft entered the right-hand traffic pattern for runway 08, covering a distance of less than 1 nm in 27 seconds.
Subsequently it proceeded on the right-hand crosswind leg, again traveling less than 1 nm and completing the segment in 10 seconds.
During the downwind turn the aircraft described a 2 nm arc, turning to an angle of 54.4° relative to the runway heading.
The downwind leg itself measured 1 nm and was flown in 39 seconds.
The base-leg turn was a 2 nm maneuver that brought the aircraft to an angle of 95.2° to the runway.
The base leg that followed was less than 1 nm in length and was completed in 12 seconds.
The final turn to the runway was a 2 nm arc executed over 100 seconds.
Landing was made on runway 26, which is 1,786 m long. The threshold speed was slightly above target at 77 kt. Touchdown occurred 265 m down the runway at 68 kt with a vertical speed of minus 32 fpm, and the aircraft aligned perfectly with the centreline. Weather at the time was 16 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 270°, no cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind.
The rollout covered a total landing distance of 566 m, representing 32 % of the runway, and the alignment remained perfect throughout the deceleration phase.
In total the flight covered 8 nm, lasted 5 minutes, and consumed 10 kg of fuel.
The aircraft entered the final segment with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 77 kt, noted as slightly above the target. Local conditions were 16 °C with a 2 kt wind from 270°, providing a 2 kt headwind and no crosswind, which supported the approach.
Touchdown occurred 265 m down the runway at a speed of 68 kt, both described as good, and the vertical rate was perfect at minus 32 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the total landing distance measured 566 m, representing 32 % of the 1,786 m runway.
Rollout alignment remained perfect throughout the remaining distance, confirming a stable exit from the runway.
Maintain the target threshold speed more precisely to eliminate the slight excess, as the high score of 96.1 % indicates the overall performance is strong with only minor speed refinement needed.
