Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,490 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 294 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Douglas DC-3 began with a 7-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway at EPWR Strachowice. The departure roll on runway 29 covered 1 nm and required a takeoff distance of 518 m, which was 21% of the total runway length. The liftoff speed was 82 kn. The local weather at the time of departure was 14 °C with a wind speed of 10 kn coming from 260°, resulting in a crosswind of 6 kn and headwind of 8 kn.
The enroute climb started shortly after departure, with the aircraft climbing from 762 ft asl to 2,826 ft asl in 4 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nm. The climb resulted in an increase of 2,064 ft in altitude.
Once at cruising altitude, the flight continued for 40 minutes at a level cruise, starting 1 mile southeast of Psary and covering 87 nm.
The landing was on runway 25 at EPLL Lublinek, which had a runway length of 2,490 m. The aircraft was at a height of 45 ft agl at the threshold with a speed of 74 kn. The touchdown occurred 294 m from the threshold with a touchdown speed of 66 kn and a VSI of -245 ft/m. The local weather at the time of landing was 18 °C with a wind speed of 10 kn coming from 200°, resulting in a crosswind of 7 kn and headwind of 6 kn. The total landing distance was 1,104 m, which was 44% of the total runway length.
After landing, the aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
Overall, the flight covered a total distance of 107 nm, took 52 minutes to complete, and used 207 kg of fuel. The flight was smooth with a successful takeoff, climb, cruise, and landing, despite some crosswind and headwind during departure and landing. The Douglas DC-3 performed well throughout the flight, demonstrating its reliability and efficiency.
