MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 500 ft gate: speed above the reference speed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,484 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 482 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with taxiing from the parking area to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 10 at ENZV Stavanger Airport, Sola, in Norway. The takeoff distance was 683 meters, which accounted for 31% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 138 knots, and the local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 13 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 15 knots at 100 degrees.
As the aircraft climbed to a higher altitude, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead ENZV Stavanger Airport, Sola. The climb took 24 minutes and covered a distance of 140 nautical miles, with the aircraft rising from an altitude of 1,046 feet above sea level to 43,767 feet above sea level. This represented an increase of 42,721 feet in altitude.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 4 miles south east of Hvittingfoss in Norway. This phase lasted for 20 minutes and covered a distance of 172 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 2 miles south east of Sagmyra in Sweden. The descent took 8 minutes and covered a distance of 47 nautical miles, with the aircraft decreasing its altitude from 43,687 feet above sea level to 10,638 feet above sea level.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 6 miles south west of OEsterfaernebo in Sweden. This phase lasted for 7 minutes and covered a distance of 32 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its second enroute descent, which started 5 miles north of OErsundsbro in Sweden. The descent took 3 minutes and covered a distance of 15 nautical miles, with the aircraft decreasing its altitude from 10,680 feet above sea level to 5,822 feet above sea level.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 2 miles south west of Gavsta in Sweden. This phase lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its third enroute descent, which started 2 miles south east of Laenna in Sweden. The descent took 3 minutes and covered a distance of 8 nautical miles, with the aircraft decreasing its altitude from 5,824 feet above sea level to 1,196 feet above sea level.
The final approach to runway 19L at ESSA Stockholm-Arlanda Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 190.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,081 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 19L, which had a length of 2,484 meters. The threshold speed was good at 123 knots, and the touchdown point was 51 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was a little fast at 111 knots, but the touchdown rate was excellent at -80 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 11 knots at 170 degrees. The crosswind was 4 knots, and the headwind was 10 knots. The total landing distance was 1,268 meters, which accounted for 51% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centreline.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The total flight distance was 431 nautical miles, and the flight took 87 minutes to complete. The aircraft
Aircraft C750 successfully landed at ESSA Stockholm-Arlanda Airport on runway 19L, achieving a score of 97.3%. The final approach was initiated from the north, heading 190.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,081 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft maintained a steady descent, and the threshold height was reported as good.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was within the acceptable range at 123 knots. However, the touchdown speed of 111 knots was slightly faster than desired. The touchdown rate, which measures the rate of descent at the moment of touchdown, was excellent at -80 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the aircraft was aligned with the centerline of the runway at the moment of touchdown.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 8°C, with a wind speed of 11 knots from a direction of 170°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 10 knots. These conditions did not appear to have a significant impact on the landing.
The total landing distance was 1,268 meters, which corresponds to 51% of the runway length. This is a relatively short landing distance, indicating that the aircraft was able to touch down and come to a stop within a relatively short distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 9.7 meters from the centerline. This suggests that the aircraft may have drifted slightly off the centerline during the rollout phase, but the deviation was not significant.
Overall, the landing was successful, and the aircraft was able to come to a stop within a relatively short distance. However, there were some minor deviations from the desired touchdown speed and runway rollout alignment.
