Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,698 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,698 m of the 3,547 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 345 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 14 minutes and covered a distance of 5 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-300, then departed from runway 09R at Charles de Gaulle International Airport (LFPG) in France. The takeoff distance was 2,683 meters, which is 75% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 189 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were a temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 30 degrees. The crosswind was 3 knots, and the headwind was 2 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead Le Mesnil-Amelot in the Ile-de-France region of France. The climb took 13 minutes, during which the aircraft ascended from 1,379 feet above sea level to 31,459 feet above sea level, an increase of 30,081 feet.
The enroute level cruise started overhead Saint-Cyr-du-Ronceray in the Normandie region of France and lasted for 10 minutes, covering a distance of 192 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 31,965 feet above sea level to 32,956 feet above sea level, an increase of 991 feet in just 2 minutes. The climb took place 1 mile south of Ploudalmezeau in the Bretagne region of France.
The enroute level cruise then started 37 miles west of Ouessant Airport in the Bretagne region of France and lasted for 54 minutes, covering a distance of 1,851 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 32,526 feet above sea level to 34,097 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,571 feet in just 2 minutes. The climb took place at a specific latitude and longitude.
The enroute level cruise then started at a new latitude and longitude and lasted for 8 minutes, covering a distance of 403 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another climb, this time from 34,246 feet above sea level to 36,040 feet above sea level, an increase of 1,794 feet in just 2 minutes. The climb took place at a specific latitude and longitude.
The enroute level cruise then started at a new latitude and longitude and lasted for 28 minutes, covering a distance of 1,175 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 54 miles northwest of Walkers Cay Airport in the Bahamas. The descent took 17 minutes, during which the aircraft descended from 36,019 feet above sea level to 1,300 feet above sea level, a decrease of 34,719 feet.
The final approach to runway 09 at Miami International Airport (KMIA) was made from the west, heading 87.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,264 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown speed of 144 knots, which was a little fast. The touchdown distance was 344 meters, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.2 meters from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 7 knots at 136 degrees. The crosswind was 6 knots, and the headwind was 5 knots. The total landing distance was 1,618 meters, which is 46% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took just 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 3,989 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 152 minutes. The
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft successfully landed at Miami International Airport (KMIA) with a score of 96.9%. The final approach to runway 09 was initiated from the west, heading 87.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,264 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach was characterized by a good threshold height, indicating that the pilots maintained a safe altitude prior to touchdown.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 147 knots, which was within the acceptable threshold speed range. However, the touchdown speed of 144 knots was slightly faster than desired, suggesting that the pilots may have been able to flare the aircraft more effectively to achieve a smoother touchdown. The touchdown rate of -355 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, indicating that the aircraft's descent was controlled and stable.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centreline by 3.2 meters, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilots' alignment or a minor issue with the aircraft's navigation system. Despite this, the runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilots maintained control of the aircraft during the rollout phase.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 27°C and a wind speed of 7 knots from 136°. The crosswind component was 6 knots, while the headwind component was 5 knots. The total landing distance of 1,618 meters was 46% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range for a Boeing 777-300 aircraft. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilots demonstrated good control and management of the aircraft during the approach and landing phases.
