Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 10,788 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 780 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Vision Jet, then departed from runway 25 at SAVT Almirante Marco Andres Zar Airport. The takeoff distance was 3,717 feet, which accounted for 45% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 116 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 96 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 21 knots from a direction of 330 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 20 knots and a headwind of 3 knots. The aircraft climbed to a height of 29,011 feet above sea level, an increase of 28,280 feet from the initial height of 731 feet, in 23 minutes and covering a distance of 76 nautical miles.
The enroute climb started overhead SAVT Almirante Marco Andres Zar Airport and continued until the aircraft reached a cruising altitude. The enroute level cruise then began 27 miles north of SAPT Puerto Piramides Airport and lasted for 86 minutes, covering a distance of 440 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent 7 miles southeast of SAXF Abelenda Airport and descended from a height of 28,878 feet to 1,819 feet in 23 minutes and covering a distance of 88 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 11 at SAEZ Minister Pistarini International Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 103.0 degrees at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,742 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 11 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 773 feet and a touchdown speed of 66 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -210 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 18 feet from the centerline.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit and a wind speed of 14 knots from a direction of 80 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 knots and a headwind of 13 knots. The total landing distance was 1,816 feet, which accounted for 17% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 616 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 144 minutes. The aircraft used 969 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed at SAEZ Minister Pistarini International Airport, achieving a score of 96.8%. The final approach to runway 11 was initiated from the west, with a heading of 103.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,742 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft demonstrated good control, touching down on the runway at a speed of 80 kt, which was within the acceptable threshold speed. The touchdown distance of 773 ft was also within the expected range, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the touchdown rate of -210 fpm was only fair, suggesting that the aircraft may have experienced a slight bounce or oscillation upon touchdown.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 18 ft from the centreline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the aircraft's approach path or a minor error in the pilot's alignment. Despite this, the runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was well-controlled and stable during the rollout phase.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 85°F and a wind speed of 14 kt from a direction of 80°. This resulted in a crosswind of 5 kt and a headwind of 13 kt, which may have affected the aircraft's approach and landing. However, the pilots successfully managed these conditions, achieving a good touchdown speed and distance.
Overall, the Vision Jet aircraft demonstrated good handling and control during the landing, with the exception of a slightly misaligned touchdown position and a fair touchdown rate. The pilots' ability to manage the challenging weather conditions and achieve a smooth touchdown was commendable, and the aircraft's performance was generally satisfactory.
