Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,645 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,645 m of the 3,400 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 349 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 24 minutes and covered a distance of 4 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Cessna CJ4 Citation, then departed from runway 22L at ZPPP Kunming Changshui International Airport. The takeoff distance was 658 meters, which accounted for 16% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 117 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 15°C, with a wind speed of 14 knots at 210°. The crosswind component was 2 knots, while the headwind component was 14 knots. The aircraft took off and began its enroute climb, which started overhead ZPPP Kunming Changshui International Airport. The climb phase involved an increase in altitude from 7,938 feet above sea level to 33,680 feet above sea level, a total increase of 25,741 feet, in 13 minutes and covering a distance of 71 nautical miles.
Following the climb phase, the aircraft entered a level cruise, which started 34 miles east of Miyang, China. This phase of the flight lasted for 55 minutes and covered a distance of 383 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 67 miles northwest of ZDAN Foluo Northeast Air Base Da'an, China. The descent phase involved a decrease in altitude from 34,160 feet above sea level to 26,302 feet above sea level, a total decrease of 7,858 feet, in 4 minutes and covering a distance of 31 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 56 miles west of ZDAN Foluo Northeast Air Base Da'an, China. This phase of the flight lasted for 11 minutes and covered a distance of 71 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent phase, which started 58 miles southwest of ZJSY Sanya Phoenix International Airport, China. The descent phase involved a decrease in altitude from 26,350 feet above sea level to 1,344 feet above sea level, a total decrease of 25,006 feet, in 15 minutes and covering a distance of 54 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 08 at ZJSY Sanya Phoenix International Airport was made from the west, with a heading of 82.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,264 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 08, which had a length of 3,400 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly below the target at 104 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 350 meters, and the touchdown speed was 95 knots, which was good. The touchdown rate was smooth at -104 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 24°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 300°. The crosswind component was 2 knots, while the tailwind component was 3 knots. The total landing distance was 1,633 meters, which accounted for 48% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was perfect.
The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 621 nautical miles, which was covered in 106 minutes. The aircraft used a total of 672 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Cessna CJ4 Citation successfully landed at ZJSY Sanya Phoenix International Airport, achieving a score of 99.0%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 82.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,264 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the local weather conditions.
The temperature at the time of landing was 24°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 300°. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a tailwind of 3 knots, which the pilot effectively managed during the landing. The aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 104 knots, which was slightly below the target threshold speed. This indicates that the pilot maintained control and made adjustments to ensure a smooth landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed decreased to 95 knots, which is within the acceptable range for a safe landing. The touchdown distance of 350 meters was also good, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent. The touchdown rate of -104 feet per minute (fpm) was smooth, suggesting that the pilot had a good feel for the aircraft's dynamics.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had accurately aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline. This is crucial for a safe landing, as it helps to prevent the aircraft from drifting off the runway or experiencing a loss of control.
The total landing distance of 1,633 meters was 48% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot had maintained control over the aircraft during the rollout phase, ensuring a safe and stable stop at the end of the runway.
Overall, the landing was executed with precision and control, demonstrating the pilot's expertise and experience with the Cessna CJ4 Citation. The score of 99.0% reflects the high level of proficiency and safety demonstrated during the landing.
