Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,802 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 308 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a departure roll from runway 18 at SBRP Leite Lopes Airport. The Airbus A320 took off with a takeoff distance of 605 meters, which accounted for 34% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 168 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at 120 degrees. The crosswind was 3 knots, and the headwind was also 3 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead SBRP Leite Lopes Airport. The climb took the aircraft from an altitude of 2,854 feet above sea level to 3,305 feet above sea level, an increase of 451 feet in just 1 minute, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The climb was a smooth and efficient one, allowing the aircraft to reach its cruising altitude quickly.
After reaching its cruising altitude, the aircraft began its enroute descent, which started 1 mile south of SDJN Fazenda São Luiz Airport Jardinópolis. The descent took the aircraft from an altitude of 3,303 feet above sea level to 2,262 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,041 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. The descent was also a smooth and controlled one, allowing the aircraft to reach its final approach altitude safely.
The final approach to runway 18 at SBRP Leite Lopes Airport was made from the north, with the aircraft heading 162.0 degrees at 1 nautical mile and 448 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 18, which had a length of 1,802 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 119 knots. The touchdown distance was good at 310 meters, but the touchdown speed was a little fast at 113 knots. The touchdown rate was good at -164 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.1 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 26 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 3 knots at 119 degrees. The crosswind was 2 knots, and the headwind was also 2 knots. The total landing distance was 989 meters, which accounted for 55% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained control of the aircraft during the landing.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway, taking 3 minutes to cover a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 7 nautical miles, and the flight used 169 kilograms of fuel. Overall, the flight was a smooth and efficient one, with the pilot making good use of the aircraft's capabilities to navigate the local weather conditions.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at SBRP Leite Lopes Airport, achieving a high score of 99.8%. The aircraft was approaching the runway from the north, heading 162.0° at 1 nautical mile and 448 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot executed a precise final approach, taking into account the runway's length of 1,802 meters and its orientation.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed was maintained at 119 knots, which is within the acceptable range. However, the touchdown speed of 113 knots was slightly higher than the ideal speed, indicating that the pilot may have been able to flare the aircraft more effectively to achieve a smoother touchdown. The touchdown rate of -164 feet per minute (fpm) was good, indicating that the aircraft was able to absorb the impact of touchdown without excessive deceleration.
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.1 meters from the centerline, which may have been due to a slight deviation in the pilot's alignment during the final approach. Nevertheless, the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft and execute a smooth rollout.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 26°C and a gentle wind of 3 knots at 119°. The crosswind and headwind components were minimal, at 2 knots each, which made the landing even more manageable.
The total landing distance of 989 meters was 55% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control of the aircraft and execute a smooth and stable rollout. Overall, the landing was executed safely and efficiently, with the pilot demonstrating good airmanship and control of the aircraft.
