Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 8,984 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,248 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-700, then departed from runway 32 at KSRQ Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. The takeoff distance was 3,403 feet, which accounted for 49% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 145 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions with a temperature of 68°F and a wind speed of 14 knots at 318°. The crosswind was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind was 14 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Whitfield, Florida, and the aircraft ascended from 1,058 feet above sea level to 40,152 feet above sea level, an increase of 39,094 feet in 21 minutes, covering a distance of 132 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 5 miles southwest of Cross City, Florida, and lasted for 27 minutes, covering a distance of 187 nautical miles. The descent started 4 miles south of KLSF Lawson Army Air Field Fort Benning, Alabama, and the aircraft descended from 40,195 feet above sea level to 2,276 feet above sea level, a decrease of 37,919 feet in 27 minutes, covering a distance of 90 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 26R at KATL Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport was made from the east, heading 270.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,251 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 26R, which had a length of 8,984 feet, was successful, with a good threshold height. The threshold speed was well above the target at 138 knots, and the touchdown distance was good at 1,254 feet. However, the touchdown speed was a little fast at 132 knots, and the touchdown rate was fair at -274 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was very good. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were a temperature of 43°F and a wind speed of 7 knots at 336°, with a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 3 knots. The total landing distance was 3,844 feet, which accounted for 43% of the runway. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 6 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
In total, the flight distance was 416 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 92 minutes. The aircraft used 7,089 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft successfully landed at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL) on runway 26R. The final approach was executed from the east, heading 270.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,251 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft demonstrated a high level of proficiency in its approach, achieving a score of 98.8%.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a speed of 132 knots, which was slightly above the target speed. However, the touchdown distance of 1,254 feet was considered good, indicating that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's descent effectively. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, showcasing the pilot's precision and skill in navigating the aircraft to the runway.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 43°F and a wind speed of 7 knots from 336°. This resulted in a crosswind of 7 knots and a headwind of 3 knots, which the pilot successfully managed during the landing. The total landing distance of 3,844 feet was 43% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot maintained control and slowed the aircraft down effectively after touchdown.
The runway rollout alignment was also very good, demonstrating the pilot's ability to maintain control and navigate the aircraft along the runway after landing. Overall, the landing was executed with a high level of proficiency, and the pilot demonstrated excellent skills in navigating the aircraft to a safe touchdown.
