Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,448 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 517 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320ceo taxied from the parking area to runway 25L at Brussels Airport (EBBR) in 8 minutes, covering 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 25L, the aircraft used 2,318 m of runway, representing 72 % of the available length, and lifted off at 149 kt. Local weather at the time was a temperature of 19 °C, wind 10 kt from 240 °, with a cross-wind component of 2 kt and a head-wind component of 10 kt.
Climb commenced overhead Zaventem (Flanders, Belgium), with the aircraft ascending from 1,125 ft asl to 13,290 ft asl - a gain of 12,165 ft - in 4 minutes while covering 18 nm.
The first cruise segment began overhead Waasmunster (Flanders, Belgium) and lasted 9 minutes, during which 56 nm were flown at level altitude.
Descent 1 started 1 mile north of Brielle (Provincie Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands), descending from 13,561 ft asl to 6,376 ft asl - a loss of 7,185 ft - in 5 minutes and covering 25 nm.
A second cruise phase was flown overhead Abbenes (Provincie Noord-Holland, The Netherlands) for 3 minutes, covering 16 nm at cruise altitude.
Descent 2 began overhead Zunderdorp (Provincie Noord-Holland, The Netherlands), with the aircraft dropping from 6,006 ft asl to 1,299 ft asl - a decrease of 4,707 ft - in 5 minutes while traveling 15 nm.
On final approach to runway 27 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM), the aircraft descended from 1,356 ft agl to 79 ft agl in 117 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 27 at EHAM, whose total length is 3,448 m, the threshold height at 60 ft agl was slightly above target and the threshold speed was 134 kt. Touchdown occurred 95 m beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 130 kt, a firm touchdown rate of minus 395 fpm, and very good runway-alignment. Weather at landing was a temperature of 17 °C, wind 16 kt from 220 °, cross-wind 12 kt and head-wind 11 kt.
The rollout distance measured 831 m, representing 24 % of the runway, and the aircraft’s centre-line alignment was slightly off by 12.1 m.
The aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 138 nm, took 37 minutes, and consumed 1,416 kg of fuel.
The approach to runway 27 at EHAM was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. Descent proceeded from 1,356 ft agl to 79 ft agl in 117 seconds under temperature 17 °C, wind 16 kt from 220°, a 12 kt cross-wind component and an 11 kt head-wind component.
During the threshold and flare phase the threshold height was 60 ft agl, slightly above target, and the threshold speed was good at 134 kt.
Touchdown occurred 95 m beyond the touchdown zone with a speed of 130 kt, a little fast, and a firm rate of -395 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was very good.
Rollout used 831 m, representing 24 % of the 3,448 m runway, and the aircraft finished slightly misaligned by 12.1 m from the centreline.
With a score of 90.2 % the landing was solid; refining the touchdown speed to match the target and tightening rollout alignment will convert the minor excesses into a consistently precise performance.
