Reduce your height at the threshold
Even a modest height error carries straight through to the touchdown. Geometry alone says that crossing the threshold 10 feet high on a 3° path moves your touchdown roughly 190 feet further down the runway before the flare adds anything.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.
At the 500 ft gate: speed 68 kt FAST on the reference speed of 89 kt.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,620 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 503 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft taxied to runway 28R at Dublin Airport (EIDW) and commenced the departure roll. The take-off run was 897 m, representing 34 % of the available runway, and liftoff was achieved at 89 kt. Local conditions were 15 °C with a 2 kt wind from 270°, no cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Climb began approximately one mile north-west of the airport, with the aircraft accelerating from 1,230 ft asl to 2,338 ft asl, an altitude gain of 1,107 ft achieved in one minute while covering one nautical mile.
Level cruise was established two miles west of Dublin Airport and persisted for two minutes, during which the aircraft covered five nautical miles.
Descent was initiated one mile west of Swords, reducing altitude from 2,131 ft asl to 1,291 ft asl, a loss of 840 ft over two minutes and a distance of six nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 28L at Dublin Airport involved a descent from 1,413 ft agl to 133 ft agl in 68 seconds, and the aircraft met the stabilisation gate criteria.
Landing on runway 28L, whose length is 2,620 m, occurred with a threshold height of 88 ft agl above the target and a threshold speed of 94 kt slightly above the target. Touchdown was recorded 53 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 74 kt, with a vertical rate of minus 206 fpm; runway-touchdown alignment was perfect. The total landing distance measured 638 m, equivalent to 24 % of the runway.
Runway rollout proceeded with perfect alignment, maintaining the aircraft on the centreline until exit.
Taxi-in to the parking area from the runway required two minutes and covered less than one nautical mile.
In total, the flight covered 18 nm, taking 8, and consumed 20 kg of fuel.
The TBM 850 conducted the final approach to runway 28L at Dublin (EIDW), descending from 1,413 ft agl to 133 ft agl in 68 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
At the threshold the aircraft was 88 ft agl, which was significantly above the target height, and the threshold speed was 94 kt, slightly above the target.
Touchdown occurred 53 m beyond the designated touchdown zone with a speed of 74 kt, a rate of -206 fpm that was rated fair, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The rollout covered 638 m, representing 24 % of the 2,620 m runway, and the rollout alignment was perfect.
To tighten the landing envelope, the crew should aim to achieve the intended threshold height and adjust the flare to bring the touchdown point nearer the zone, while maintaining the good speed and alignment already demonstrated.
