Reduce your height at the threshold
Even a modest height error carries straight through to the touchdown. Geometry alone says that crossing the threshold 10 feet high on a 3° path moves your touchdown roughly 190 feet further down the runway before the flare adds anything.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.
At the 500 ft gate: centreline 1.2° off, against a 1° limit.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,646 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 238 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The TBM 850 taxied to runway 28R at Dublin Airport (EIDW) and commenced the take-off roll, covering 270 m which represented 10 % of the available runway. Liftoff was achieved at 97 kt under local conditions of 16 °C temperature, a 2 kt wind from 270°, with no cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
Climb began approximately 1 nm north-west of the airport, with the aircraft accelerating from 1,209 ft asl to 3,836 ft asl, an altitude gain of 2,627 ft achieved in 2 minutes while traversing 4 nm.
Level cruise was established about 2 nm north-east of Clonee and was maintained for 2 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 5 nm at the cruise altitude.
Descent was initiated roughly 2 nm north-west of Swords, descending from 3,914 ft asl to 702 ft asl, a loss of 3,212 ft over 3 minutes and a distance of 8 nm.
The final approach to runway 28R at Dublin Airport involved a descent from 714 ft agl to 87 ft agl in 75 seconds, and the aircraft was recorded as having scored on the stabilisation gates.
Landing on runway 28R, whose total length is 2,646 m, occurred with a threshold height of 83 ft agl that was noted as significantly above target and a threshold speed of 80 kt that was slightly below target. Touchdown was made 237 m down the runway at 62 kt, with a hard touchdown rate of minus 452 fpm and a lateral deviation of 4.1 m from the centreline. Weather at the time was 15 °C temperature, a 2 kt wind from 270°, no cross-wind and a 2 kt head-wind component.
In total the flight covered 19 nm, required 8 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 24 kg of fuel.
The TBM 850 conducted the final approach to runway 28R at Dublin Airport, descending from 714 ft agl to 87 ft agl in 75 seconds. The approach was scored on the stabilisation gates. Local weather was 15 °C with a wind of 2 kt from 270°, cross-wind 0 kt and head-wind 2 kt.
At the threshold the aircraft was 83 ft agl, which was significantly above the target height, and the threshold speed was 80 kt, slightly below the target.
Touchdown occurred 237 m down the runway, with a speed of 62 kt, both judged good. The vertical rate at touchdown was hard at minus 452 fpm. The touchdown point was offset by 4.1 m from the centreline.
To raise the 81.3 % score, aim to meet the target threshold height and refine the flare to lessen the hard vertical rate of minus 452 fpm. Improving alignment will also keep the touchdown point closer to the centreline.
