Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,986 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 473 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A321 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport, taking approximately 9 minutes to cover a distance of 2 nautical miles. The departure roll took place on runway 04R, with a takeoff distance of 1,507 meters, which accounted for 51% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 161 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 14°C temperature and a wind speed of 9 knots at 349 degrees. The crosswind was 8 knots, while the headwind was 5 knots. The enroute climb started over Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport, with the aircraft ascending from 1,049 feet above sea level to 35,059 feet, a total increase of 34,010 feet in 24 minutes, covering a distance of 152 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 1 mile west of Quinzano d'Oglio, Italy, and lasted for 9 minutes, covering a distance of 70 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its descent over Commezzadura, Italy, and descended from 35,049 feet to 10,680 feet, a decrease of 24,369 feet in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 97 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed 1 mile east of Feldafing, Germany, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 17 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent 2 miles southeast of Bogenhausen, Germany, and descended from 10,682 feet to 7,688 feet, a decrease of 2,994 feet in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 12 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise continued over Grobenzell, Germany, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its descent 1 mile east of Mammendorf, Germany, and descended from 7,511 feet to 4,964 feet, a decrease of 2,547 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed 1 mile northeast of Sulzemoos, Germany, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent over Rohrmoos, Germany, and descended from 4,971 feet to 2,749 feet, a decrease of 2,222 feet in 2 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 08L at Munich Airport took place from the west, with the aircraft heading at 83.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,267 feet above ground level. The landing took place on a runway length of 3,986 meters, with a good threshold height. The threshold speed was good at 133 knots, and the touchdown point was 52 meters beyond the touchdown zone. The touchdown speed was 130 knots, which was good, while the touchdown rate was fair at -255 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the local weather conditions were 4°C temperature and a wind speed of 2 knots at 82 degrees. The crosswind was 0 knots, while the headwind was 2 knots. The total landing distance was 1,126 meters, which accounted for 28% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was also very good.
The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took approximately 3 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 383 nautical miles, taking a total of 74 minutes, and the aircraft used 3,605 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A321 successfully landed on runway 08L at EDDM Munich Airport, achieving a high score of 99.5%. The aircraft approached the runway from the west, heading 83.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,267 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a critical aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 133 knots, which is within the acceptable range. The touchdown point was located 52 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal landing spot. However, the touchdown speed of 130 knots was considered good, suggesting that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's descent effectively.
The touchdown rate of -255 feet per minute (fpm) was deemed fair, which may indicate a slightly steeper descent than desired. Nevertheless, the runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway during the landing process.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 4°C and a gentle wind of 2 knots from a direction of 82°. The crosswind component was negligible, while the headwind component was 2 knots, which may have contributed to the slightly steeper descent.
The total landing distance of 1,126 meters was 28% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance considering the aircraft's size and weight. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot maintained control and managed the aircraft's deceleration effectively during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and management of the aircraft throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
