MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,329 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 724 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from London City Airport, the aircraft began its taxiing process from the parking area to the runway, a journey that took approximately 5 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. Upon reaching runway 27, the aircraft initiated its departure roll, utilizing 72% of the 1,079-meter runway to achieve liftoff at a speed of 158 knots. The local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 24°C, with a wind speed of 22 knots at 227°, resulting in a 15-knot crosswind and a 15-knot headwind.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb 1 mile east of Canary Wharf, ascending from an initial altitude of 882 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 23,011 feet, a vertical increase of 22,129 feet in 9 minutes and covering a distance of 56 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise phase commenced 1 mile southwest of Faversham, lasting 8 minutes and covering 53 nautical miles. The aircraft then initiated its enroute descent 12 miles north of Fort-Mardyck, France, descending from 23,009 feet to 4,586 feet in 11 minutes and covering 67 nautical miles. Following a brief level cruise phase overhead Erpe, Belgium, the aircraft began its final descent 1 mile east of Begijnendijk, Belgium, reducing its altitude from 3,979 feet to 1,507 feet in 4 minutes and covering 10 nautical miles.
The aircraft then initiated its final approach to runway 25R at Brussels Airport, approaching from the northeast at a heading of 246.0° and 4 nautical miles from the threshold. The landing was executed on the 3,334-meter runway, with the threshold height slightly above target and the threshold speed slightly above target at 130 knots. The touchdown point was 297 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 112 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was good at -195 feet per minute, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. Following a smooth rollout, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a journey that took 2 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 232 nautical miles, with a total flight time of 50 minutes and a fuel consumption of 757 kilograms.
The aircraft, C750, successfully executed a final approach to runway 25R at EBBR Brussels Airport from the north east, aligning with the heading of 246.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,351 feet above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a threshold height of 58 feet above ground level, slightly above the target. The threshold speed of 130 knots was also slightly above the target, indicating a slight increase in power application during the final stages of the approach.
As the aircraft touched down on the runway, the touchdown point was located 297 meters beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight over-shoot. The touchdown speed of 112 knots was a little fast, suggesting that the pilot may have applied a slight amount of power during the touchdown. However, the touchdown rate of -195 feet per minute was good, indicating a controlled descent. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway centerline.
The aircraft's rollout was smooth and controlled, with perfect alignment on the runway centerline. The total landing distance of 1,366 meters was 41% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 22°C and a headwind of 5 knots, contributed to a stable and predictable approach and landing. Overall, the landing was scored 95.5%, reflecting a high level of proficiency and control demonstrated by the pilot.
