MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,377 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 447 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Airbus A320 taxied from the parking area to runway 12L at KMSP for ten minutes, covering a distance of 2 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 12L, the aircraft used 1,537 m of runway, representing 62 % of the available length, and lifted off at 150 kt; ambient temperature was 28 °C with a wind of 8 kt from 090°, a 4 kt cross-wind component and a 7 kt head-wind component.
Climb commenced one mile west of Mendota Heights, with the airplane ascending from 1,720 ft asl to 36,833 ft asl, a gain of 35,113 ft achieved in 22 minutes while traversing 138 nm.
The first cruise segment began three miles west of Worthington and continued for 183 minutes, during which the aircraft covered 1,095 nm at level flight.
Descent started two miles south of 5CA4 Ludlow Airport Barstow, descending from 37,448 ft asl to 10,832 ft asl, a loss of 26,616 ft in 16 minutes over a distance of 88 nm.
A brief cruise over Chino followed, lasting 117 minutes and covering less than 1 nm while maintaining altitude.
The next descent phase began overhead Chino, dropping from 10,832 ft asl to 2,064 ft asl, a reduction of 8,769 ft in 7 minutes across 29 nm.
A short cruise segment started one mile south-west of Florence-Graham, lasting three minutes and spanning 2 nm.
Final approach to runway 25L at KLAX was executed from the east, on a heading of 263.0°, at 4 nm and 1,257 ft agl, with local conditions of 26 °C temperature, wind 17 kt from 250°, a 4 kt cross-wind and a 16 kt head-wind component.
Landing on runway 25L, whose length is 3,377 m, was performed with a threshold speed of 144 kt, touchdown occurring at 449 m down the runway and at 140 kt; the vertical speed at touchdown was minus 144 fpm and alignment was very good. Total landing distance recorded was 1,080 m, equivalent to 32 % of the runway.
Runway rollout proceeded with very good alignment, completing the landing roll within the measured 1,080 m distance.
