Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,287 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 441 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on an exceptional landing score of 99.9%! Your performance during each phase of the aircraft landing was simply outstanding.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, ensuring a smooth descent towards the runway. Although your speed was slightly above the target, this minor deviation did not affect the overall landing quality.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, you displayed exceptional skill with a good threshold height and a perfect landing flare. Your touchdown rate was smooth, and your speed was right on target. Additionally, landing within the touchdown zone with a touchdown position just 2.2 meters from the centerline is truly impressive.
As you transitioned into the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was very good, allowing for a seamless exit from the runway. Your attention to detail and precision throughout each phase of the landing process is truly commendable.
Keep up the fantastic work and continue striving for excellence in every flight. Your dedication to mastering the art of aircraft landing is truly paying off, and I have no doubt that you will continue to achieve exceptional results in the future. Well done!
