MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate for a circuit: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate is an instrument-approach check and does not apply.
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 5,502 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 684 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, it seems like the landing had a few areas that could use improvement, but there were also some positive aspects to note.
In the Approach Phase, it was great to see excellent heading alignment and below-target speed. However, the unstable glideslope alignment is something to work on to ensure a smoother approach in the future. Be mindful of maintaining a safe airspeed to avoid stalling.
During the Landing Phase, it is important to increase the threshold height to ensure a safe touchdown. The poor landing flare could be improved upon with more practice and attention to technique.
In the Touchdown Phase, it is great to hear that the touchdown rate, speed, and distance were all on target. Keep up the good work in these areas.
Lastly, in the Rollout Phase, it is important to maintain runway alignment to ensure a safe and smooth exit from the runway.
Overall, continue practicing and refining your landing techniques to improve stability and consistency. Remember to always prioritize safety and stay attentive to all phases of the landing process. Good luck in your future landings!
