MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,740 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 368 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Vancouver International Airport (CYVR), the Boeing 737-800 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. As the aircraft lined up on runway 26L, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 20°C, with a wind speed of 12 knots from a direction of 200°. The crosswind component was 12 knots, while the headwind component was a mere 2 knots.
As the aircraft departed, it accelerated to a liftoff speed of 173 knots, covering a takeoff distance of 1,845 meters, which represented 53% of the available runway length. The enroute climb phase began shortly after departure, with the aircraft ascending from an initial altitude of 997 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 32,007 feet, an increase of 31,010 feet in just 13 minutes. The aircraft then entered a level cruise phase, which lasted for 24 minutes and covered a distance of 681 nautical miles. The flight continued with multiple enroute climb and level cruise phases, with the aircraft adjusting its altitude and heading to optimize its flight path.
As the aircraft approached its destination, Daniel K Inouye International Airport (PHNL), it began its descent from a cruising altitude of 35,971 feet to a final approach altitude of 1,305 feet. The final approach was made to runway 04R, with the aircraft aligning perfectly with the runway centerline. The landing was successful, with a touchdown distance of 371 meters and a touchdown speed of 148 knots. The total landing distance was 1,237 meters, which represented 45% of the available runway length. After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took just 4 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 2,392 nautical miles, and the aircraft used 15,131 kilograms of fuel during the journey, which lasted a total of 115 minutes.
The Boeing 737-800 touched down on runway 04R at PHNL Daniel K Inouye International Airport with a score of 99.7%. The aircraft approached the runway from the southwest, aligning with the heading of 53.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,285 feet above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height allowing the pilots to maintain a stable and controlled descent.
As the aircraft touched down, it was traveling at a speed of 148 knots, which was slightly above the target touchdown speed. However, the touchdown distance of 371 meters was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown rate of -181 feet per minute was good. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 28°C and a headwind of 22 knots, contributed to a smooth and controlled landing.
The total landing distance of 1,237 meters was 45% of the runway length, indicating a good balance between speed and control. The runway rollout alignment was also perfect, with the aircraft maintaining its centerline alignment throughout the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was a success, with the pilots demonstrating excellent control and precision throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
