Improve the rollout
Ground control varies with speed, full authority at walking pace, progressively reducing as groundspeed rises. The aircraft becomes twitchy at any speed, every small pedal input swings the nose, which can encourage large-amplitude leg inputs that no real aircraft would accept.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
At the 1,000 ft gate: speed 14 kt SLOW on the reference speed of 133 kt.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,743 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,743 m of the 3,148 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 701 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from London City Airport, the Boeing 737-700 began its takeoff roll on runway 27, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 138 kt in 752 meters, which was 56% of the runway's length. The aircraft then climbed away from the airport, overcoming a negligible headwind of 2 kt. As it reached the enroute climb phase, the aircraft ascended from 1,218 ft to 29,004 ft in 13 minutes, covering 77 nm, and demonstrating a climb rate of approximately 2,300 ft/min.
The enroute level cruise phase was initiated 8 miles south east of Deal, England, and lasted for 7 minutes, during which the aircraft maintained a steady altitude and covered 51 nm. The climb phase was resumed overhead Werken, Belgium, where the aircraft ascended from 28,999 ft to 31,259 ft in 2 minutes, covering 12 nm. The subsequent level cruise phase, which started 1 mile south of Tielt, Belgium, lasted for 14 minutes and covered 240 nm. The aircraft then began its descent from 32,003 ft to 5,005 ft in 12 minutes, covering 92 nm, before entering another level cruise phase 2 miles south of Hufingen, Germany. The final descent phase started 1 mile south of Wutoeschingen, Germany, and the aircraft landed on runway 14 at Zürich Airport, with a total landing distance of 1,660 meters, which was 53% of the runway's length.
The landing was characterized by a slightly misaligned touchdown point, which was 283 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and a touchdown speed of 108 kt. The touchdown rate was fair at -218 fpm. The aircraft then taxied to the parking area, taking 5 minutes to cover less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 503 nm, and the aircraft used 3,758 kg of fuel during the flight, which lasted 70 minutes.
The final approach to runway 14 at LSZH Zürich Airport from the north west was initiated at 4 nm and 1,581 ft above ground level, heading 136.0 °. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a threshold speed of 123 kt, which was within the acceptable range. However, the threshold height at 57 ft agl was slightly above the target, indicating a slight deviation from the ideal approach path.
The aircraft touched down 283 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 108 kt, which was good. The touchdown rate of -218 fpm was fair, indicating a moderate deceleration. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.9 m from the centreline, which may have contributed to the slightly higher touchdown speed. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15 °C and a light wind of 2 kt at 270 °, were favorable for the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,660 m was 53% of the runway length, which is within the acceptable range. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 14.5 m from the centreline, which may have been a result of the initial touchdown position. Overall, the landing performance was good, with a score of 88.4%. However, there is room for improvement in terms of approach path consistency and touchdown position alignment.
