Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,987 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 460 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by an Airbus A321 aircraft. The aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 6 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 04R at LIPZ Venice Marco Polo Airport, with the aircraft lifting off at a speed of 152 knots after covering a takeoff distance of 1,305 meters, which accounted for 39% of the runway.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 9 knots from a direction of 180 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 6 knots and a tailwind of 6 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting 1 mile northeast of LIPZ Venice Marco Polo Airport, and continued to climb from an altitude of 1,004 feet above sea level to 29,666 feet above sea level, an increase of 28,662 feet, in 17 minutes and covering a distance of 83 nautical miles.
The enroute climb was followed by a brief level cruise, which started 3 miles east of Scena, Italy, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 25 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent, starting 3 miles west of Neustift im Stubaital, Austria, and continued to descend from an altitude of 29,724 feet above sea level to 15,007 feet above sea level, a decrease of 14,716 feet, in 7 minutes and covering a distance of 47 nautical miles.
The enroute descent was followed by another level cruise, which started 1 mile east of Feldafing, Germany, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 8 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its descent again, starting overhead Gauting, Germany, and continued to descend from an altitude of 15,010 feet above sea level to 4,986 feet above sea level, a decrease of 10,024 feet, in 7 minutes and covering a distance of 33 nautical miles.
The enroute descent was followed by another level cruise, which started overhead Dorfen, Germany, and lasted for 5 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, starting 1 mile north of Inning am Holz, Germany, and continued to descend from an altitude of 4,880 feet above sea level to 2,757 feet above sea level, a decrease of 2,123 feet, in 3 minutes and covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 26L at EDDM Munich Airport was made from the east, with the aircraft heading 264.0 degrees at an altitude of 1,279 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing took place on runway 26L, which had a length of 3,987 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 6 knots from a direction of 270 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 6 knots.
The landing was successful, with the aircraft touching down at a speed of 131 knots, which was a little fast, and a touchdown rate of -284 feet per minute, which was fair. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the runway rollout alignment was also perfect. The total landing distance was 1,085 meters, which accounted for 27% of the runway.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 6 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 218 n
The Airbus A321 successfully landed on runway 26L at EDDM Munich Airport, achieving a high score of 99.3%. The aircraft approached the runway from the east, heading 264.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,279 feet above ground level (agl). The pilot maintained a good threshold height, which is a crucial aspect of a safe landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was recorded at 134 knots, which is within the acceptable range. However, the touchdown speed of 131 knots was slightly faster than desired, indicating that the pilot may have needed to apply more braking force upon touchdown. The touchdown rate of -284 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, suggesting that the aircraft's descent was not excessively steep.
The landing distance of 1,085 meters was 27% of the runway's total length of 3,987 meters, which is a relatively short distance. This indicates that the pilot was able to bring the aircraft to a stop quickly and efficiently. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, which is essential for a safe landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were favorable, with a temperature of 15°C and a wind speed of 6 knots from 270°. The crosswind component was minimal at 1 knot, while the headwind component was 6 knots, which helped to reduce the aircraft's ground speed and make the landing more manageable.
During the rollout, the aircraft's alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot was able to maintain control and steer the aircraft in the correct direction. Overall, the landing was successful, and the pilot's skills and experience were evident in the high score achieved.
