MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,795 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 285 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the Boeing 737-600 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. With a takeoff distance of 667 meters, which equated to 20% of the runway length, the aircraft accelerated down runway 09 and lifted off at a speed of 139 knots. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 15°C, a wind speed of 1 knot from 180°, and a negligible crosswind component.
As the aircraft climbed away from Amsterdam, it began its enroute climb, which started overhead the airport and continued for 10 minutes, covering a distance of 59 nautical miles and an altitude increase of 26,042 feet. The climb phase was followed by a 7-minute level cruise, which began 1 mile north of Kleve, Germany, and covered a distance of 49 nautical miles. The aircraft then commenced its enroute descent, which started overhead Wuppertal, Germany, and continued for 13 minutes, covering a distance of 81 nautical miles and a descent of 21,086 feet. The descent phase was punctuated by a brief level cruise, which lasted 3 minutes and covered 14 nautical miles, before the aircraft began its final descent towards Frankfurt Airport.
The Boeing 737-600 approached Frankfurt Airport from the southwest, aligning itself with runway 07L at a height of 1,350 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the threshold. The aircraft touched down on the runway at a speed of 127 knots, which was slightly above the target speed, and a touchdown distance of 285 meters, which was considered good. The total landing distance was 1,059 meters, or 38% of the runway length, and the runway rollout alignment was perfect. After taxiing to the parking area, the aircraft had completed a total flight distance of 225 nautical miles, using 2,226 kilograms of fuel and taking a total of 45 minutes.
The Boeing 737-600 touched down on runway 07L at EDDF Frankfurt Airport with a firm touchdown rate of -331 fpm, slightly above the target rate. The aircraft's speed at touchdown was 127 kt, which was a little fast, but still within acceptable limits. The touchdown distance of 285 m was good, and the aircraft maintained perfect runway touchdown alignment.
As the aircraft rolled out, it remained perfectly aligned with the centreline, demonstrating excellent control and stability. The total landing distance of 1,059 m was 38% of the runway length, indicating a good balance between touchdown distance and rollout performance. The threshold speed of 131 kt was slightly above the target, but the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed and control its descent ensured a smooth and controlled touchdown.
The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a firm touchdown rate. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 18 °C and a light headwind of 1 kt, contributed to a stable and predictable approach. Overall, the landing performance was highly satisfactory, with a score of 98.8% reflecting the pilot's skill and the aircraft's handling characteristics.
