MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 8,918 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 8,918 ft of the 14,410 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 619 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Vision Jet taxiing from the parking area to the runway at OIII Mehrabad International Airport, a process that took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 11R, with a takeoff distance of 2,705 feet, which is 20% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 94 knots.
As the aircraft climbed out of Mehrabad International Airport, it encountered local weather conditions of 79°F temperature and a 5-knot wind at 179°. The crosswind was 5 knots, and the headwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started overhead the airport, with the aircraft ascending from 4,716 feet above sea level to 24,012 feet above sea level, an increase of 19,296 feet in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 52 nautical miles.
After reaching the cruising altitude, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which lasted 18 minutes and covered 84 nautical miles. This phase began 25 miles northeast of Qom, in the Qom Province of Iran. The aircraft then started its descent, which began 35 miles northwest of Z14L Jafarabao, in the Isfahan Province of Iran. The descent phase lasted 14 minutes and covered 53 nautical miles, with the aircraft descending from 24,044 feet above sea level to 5,697 feet above sea level.
The final approach to runway 07R at OIFM Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport was made from the west, with the aircraft heading 84.0° at 1 nautical mile and 611 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 07R was successful, with a touchdown distance of 610 feet, which is good. The touchdown speed was 66 knots, and the touchdown rate was -198 feet per minute, both of which were good. The runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 88°F temperature and a 2-knot wind at 158°, with a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance was 8,583 feet, which is 60% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was also very good. After landing, the aircraft taxiied to the parking area, a process that took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 195 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 59 minutes. The aircraft used 356 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Vision Jet aircraft successfully landed at OIFM Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport, achieving a score of 96.0%. The final approach to runway 07R was conducted from the west, with a heading of 84.0° at 1 nautical mile and 611 feet above ground level (agl). This indicates a precise and controlled approach, with the aircraft maintaining a steady course and altitude.
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, indicating that the pilot maintained a safe distance from the runway threshold. The threshold speed of 72 knots was also within the acceptable range, demonstrating the pilot's ability to manage the aircraft's speed during the landing phase. The touchdown distance of 610 feet was also good, suggesting that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent.
The touchdown speed of 66 knots was within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -198 feet per minute (fpm) was also good, indicating a smooth and controlled touchdown. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained a precise alignment with the runway during the landing phase.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 88°F and a wind speed of 2 knots from 158°. This resulted in a negligible crosswind component of 2 knots, and a headwind of 0 knots. The total landing distance of 8,583 feet was 60% of the runway length, indicating that the pilot had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent and rollout.
The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot maintained a precise alignment with the runway during the rollout phase. Overall, the Vision Jet aircraft's landing at OIFM Isfahan Shahid Beheshti International Airport was a success, with a score of 96.0% reflecting the pilot's skill and control during the landing phase.
