MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,110 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 360 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 6 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 34 at LIRJ Marina Di Campo Airport, with a takeoff distance of 509 meters, which accounted for 53% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 92 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions of 16°C temperature and a wind speed of 1 knot at 269 degrees. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the headwind was 0 knots. After departing from the airport, the enroute climb started overhead LIRJ Marina Di Campo Airport, with the aircraft climbing from 304 feet above sea level to 9,313 feet above sea level, an increase of 9,008 feet in 8 minutes and covering a distance of 12 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 10 miles northwest of Marciana, Italy, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 22 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent 6 miles southeast of Macinaggio, France, descending from 9,927 feet above sea level to 1,703 feet above sea level, a decrease of 8,224 feet in 11 minutes and covering a distance of 35 nautical miles.
Following the descent, the aircraft entered another enroute level cruise, this time starting 2 miles north of Lumio, France, and lasting for 4 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles. The final approach to runway 36 at LFKC Calvi-Sainte-Catherine Airport was made from the south, with the aircraft heading 360 degrees at 0 nautical miles and 198 feet above ground level.
The landing on runway 36 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 358 meters, which was 36% of the runway length. The touchdown speed was 79 knots, and the touchdown rate was fair at -246 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, and the local weather conditions were 15°C temperature and a wind speed of 1 knot at 270 degrees, with a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 0 knots.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking, which took less than 1 minute and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 79 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 34 minutes. The aircraft used 75 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The aircraft in question, a M500, successfully landed at LFKC Calvi-Sainte-Catherine Airport, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in its approach and landing procedures. The final approach was conducted from the south, heading directly towards the runway, with the aircraft at an altitude of 198 feet above ground level (agl) and 0 nautical miles (nm) from the runway.
Upon reaching the runway threshold, the aircraft touched down at a speed of 86 knots, which is considered good for a landing. The touchdown distance of 358 meters was also within acceptable limits, indicating that the pilot had maintained control of the aircraft throughout the approach and landing phases. The touchdown speed of 79 knots was also satisfactory, suggesting that the pilot had managed to slow the aircraft down effectively.
However, the touchdown rate of -246 feet per minute (fpm) was only fair, indicating that the aircraft may have experienced a slight bounce or oscillation upon touchdown. This could be due to a variety of factors, including the aircraft's weight, the surface conditions of the runway, or the pilot's technique.
Despite this minor issue, the overall performance of the aircraft during the landing was impressive. The runway touchdown alignment was perfect, indicating that the pilot had maintained a steady course and had aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15°C and a light wind of 1 knot from the west, were also favorable for the landing.
The total landing distance of 769 meters, which accounted for 36% of the runway length, was also within acceptable limits. This suggests that the pilot had managed to slow the aircraft down effectively and had maintained control throughout the landing phase. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the pilot had maintained a steady course and had aligned the aircraft with the runway centerline during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing of the M500 at LFKC Calvi-Sainte-Catherine Airport was a success, with the pilot demonstrating a high level of proficiency in its approach and landing procedures. While there were some minor issues with the touchdown rate, the overall performance of the aircraft was impressive, and the landing was completed safely and efficiently.
