Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,033 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 324 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the Airbus A321 taxiing from the parking area to the runway at London Heathrow Airport, taking 7 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The aircraft then departed from runway 27R, with a takeoff distance of 1,006 meters, which was 28% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 136 knots.
As the aircraft took off, it encountered local weather conditions of 13°C temperature and a wind speed of 22 knots at 190 degrees. The crosswind was 21 knots, while the headwind was 4 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead Harmondsworth in Greater London, England. It climbed from an altitude of 1,086 feet above sea level to 5,710 feet above sea level, an increase of 4,624 feet in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 1 mile south west of Farnham Royal in Buckinghamshire, England, and lasted for 5 minutes, covering a distance of 24 nautical miles. The aircraft then began another enroute climb, this time starting overhead Bayford in Hertfordshire, England. It climbed from 5,827 feet above sea level to 35,957 feet above sea level, an increase of 30,130 feet in 20 minutes, covering a distance of 148 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise started 31 miles west of Zandvoort in the Provincie Noord-Holland, The Netherlands, and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 59 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 6 miles west of Hindeloopen in the Provincie Friesland, The Netherlands. It descended from 36,008 feet above sea level to 1,262 feet above sea level, a decrease of 34,746 feet in 11 minutes, covering a distance of 133 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 27 at Bremen Airport was made from the east, heading 267.0 degrees at 3 nautical miles and 1,215 feet above ground level. The landing was successful, with a touchdown distance of 326 meters, which was good. However, the touchdown speed of 136 knots was a little fast, and the touchdown rate was firm at -343 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good.
The local weather conditions at Bremen Airport were 6°C temperature and a wind speed of 19 knots at 170 degrees. The crosswind was 19 knots, while the tailwind was 3 knots. The total landing distance was 1,057 meters, which was 52% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 7.6 meters from the centreline. The taxiing to the parking area from the runway took 1 minute and covered less than 1 nautical mile.
The total flight distance was 377 nautical miles, taking 52 minutes, and the aircraft used 2,965 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A321 aircraft successfully landed at EDDW Bremen Airport, achieving a high score of 96.1%. The final approach to runway 27 was conducted from the east, heading 267.0° at a distance of 3 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,215 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft's approach was well-executed, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed of 137 knots, which is within the acceptable range.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's performance was satisfactory, with a touchdown distance of 326 meters, which is within the expected range. However, the touchdown speed of 136 knots was slightly faster than desired, indicating that the pilot may have needed to apply more braking force upon touchdown. The touchdown rate of -343 feet per minute (fpm) was firm, suggesting that the aircraft's wheels made contact with the runway with a moderate amount of force.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the aircraft was aligned with the centerline of the runway at the moment of touchdown. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 6°C and a wind speed of 19 knots from a direction of 170°. The crosswind component was 19 knots, while the tailwind component was 3 knots, which may have affected the aircraft's performance during the landing.
The total landing distance of 1,057 meters was 52% of the runway length, which is a relatively short distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 7.6 meters from the centerline, indicating that the aircraft may have deviated from the desired path during the rollout phase. Overall, the landing was successful, but there is room for improvement in terms of touchdown speed and runway rollout alignment.
