Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,290 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 762 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Airbus A320 from RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport began with a quick 5-minute taxi from the parking area to the runway, covering less than 1 nm. The departure roll from runway 04 involved a takeoff distance of 4,911 ft, which accounted for 46% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was recorded at 166 kn. The local weather at the time indicated a temperature of 87 °F with a wind speed of 8 kn coming from 359°, resulting in a crosswind of 5 kn and a headwind of 6 kn.
As the aircraft ascended enroute, the climb started over RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport Lapu-Lapu City, reaching an altitude of 2,043 ft from an initial altitude of 1,054 ft, covering a distance of 3 nm in 2 minutes. The level cruise phase commenced 2 miles southeast of the airport, lasting for 3 minutes and covering 4 nm.
During the final approach to runway 04 at RPVM Mactan Cebu International Airport, the airplane approached from the southwest at a heading of 45.0°, reaching a height of 1,044 ft above ground level at 2 nm. The landing itself on the 10,793 ft runway saw a slightly higher threshold height than desired at 59 ft above ground level, with the speed slightly above target at 144 kn. The touchdown was deemed successful with a speed of 131 kn and a decent rate of -154 ft/m, although the touchdown position was slightly off-center by 34 ft.
Overall, the flight covered a distance of 11 nm, lasting for 9 minutes and consuming 963 lbs of fuel. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 85 °F with a wind speed of 6 kn from 359°, resulting in a crosswind of 4 kn and a headwind of 4 kn.
