Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: seven checks where the approach path is 300 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out. These checks are the approach's score.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,800 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 432 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, Kemble, Gloucestershire, England, the Kodiak 100 aircraft began its takeoff roll on runway 26. The aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 84 kt, achieving liftoff in a distance of 527 m, which accounted for 33% of the available runway length. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 16 °C and a light headwind of 1 kt from a direction of 270°.
As the aircraft transitioned to the enroute climb phase, it began to ascend from an initial altitude of 825 ft above sea level to a cruising altitude of 684 ft asl, an increase of 141 ft in just 1 minute. This climb phase covered a distance of 3 nm, demonstrating the aircraft's efficient climb capabilities. The aircraft then commenced its final approach to runway 08 at Cotswold Airport, approaching from the west at a heading of 80.0° and at an altitude of 264 ft above ground level.
Upon touchdown on runway 08, the aircraft's touchdown speed of 64 kt was slightly above the target, but the touchdown rate of -41 fpm was perfect. The runway touchdown alignment was also spot on, and the aircraft's rollout alignment was flawless. The total landing distance of 726 m, accounting for 45% of the available runway length, was a testament to the pilot's skill and the aircraft's performance. The total flight distance of 4 nm was completed in just 3 minutes, with a fuel consumption of -2 kg.
The aircraft touched down smoothly on runway 08 at EGBP Cotswold Airport, with a threshold height that was well within acceptable limits. As the aircraft descended onto the runway, the threshold speed was noted to be above the target, at 80 kt, which was a slight deviation from the ideal. However, the touchdown distance of 430 m was satisfactory, indicating a good control of the aircraft's descent.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's speed was recorded at 64 kt, which was a little faster than the desired rate. Nevertheless, the touchdown rate of -41 fpm was perfect, demonstrating a high degree of control and precision. The runway touchdown alignment was also perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway's centerline. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 20 °C and a gentle wind of 3 kt at 227 °, contributed to a stable and predictable approach.
The aircraft's rollout was equally impressive, with perfect alignment on the runway centerline. The total landing distance of 726 m, which accounted for 45% of the runway's length, was a testament to the pilot's skill and control. Overall, the landing was deemed a success, with a score of 99.0% reflecting the high level of proficiency and precision displayed throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases.
