Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,786 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 150 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, Kemble, in Gloucestershire, England, the Kodiak 100 aircraft began its takeoff roll on runway 26. The aircraft accelerated to a liftoff speed of 77 kt, achieving lift-off in a distance of 633 m, which represented 39% of the available runway length. The local weather conditions at the time were characterized by a temperature of 15 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt from a direction of 269°.
As the aircraft transitioned to the enroute climb phase, it began to ascend from an initial altitude of 814 ft above sea level to 1,110 ft asl, a vertical gain of 297 ft, achieved in just 1 minute. This climb phase was followed by a brief level cruise, which lasted for 2 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nm, as the aircraft flew over Crudwell in Wiltshire, England. The final approach to runway 26 at Cotswold Airport was initiated from the east, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 258.0° at an altitude of 179 ft above ground level.
The Kodiak 100 touched down on runway 26 in a distance of 148 m, with a touchdown speed of 53 kt, which was within acceptable limits. The touchdown rate was also satisfactory, at -7 fpm, and the runway touchdown alignment was perfect. The total landing distance was 379 m, representing 23% of the available runway length. Following touchdown, the aircraft maintained perfect runway rollout alignment, bringing the flight to a safe conclusion. The total flight distance was 6 nm, covering a duration of 5 minutes, and the aircraft consumed 12 kg of fuel during the flight.
The aircraft touched down smoothly on runway 26 at EGBP Cotswold Airport, with a threshold height that was well within acceptable limits. The approach quality was excellent, with a heading of 258.0° and an altitude of 179 feet above ground level (agl) at 0 nautical miles from the threshold. The threshold speed was slightly below the target, coming in at 60 knots, but this did not appear to have any significant impact on the overall landing.
As the aircraft made contact with the runway, it did so at a speed of 53 knots, which was well within the target range. The touchdown distance was good, at 148 meters, and the touchdown rate was perfect, at -7 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was also perfect, with the aircraft centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15°C and a gentle headwind of 1 knot, contributed to a smooth and controlled landing.
The rollout phase was equally impressive, with the aircraft maintaining perfect alignment on the runway centerline. The total landing distance was 379 meters, which was just 23% of the runway length. Overall, the landing was a credit to the pilot's skill and experience, with a score of 99.8% reflecting the high level of proficiency demonstrated.
