Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 2,033 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 2,033 m of the 2,882 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 812 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing Václav Havel Airport Prague, the Airbus A319 began its journey on runway 24, taking off with a liftoff speed of 165 kt after a 2,044 m takeoff distance, which covered 55% of the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 18 °C and a gentle tailwind of 2 kt.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute cruise altitude, it passed overhead Jenec, Czech Republic, and continued to ascend to 35,638 ft asl, an increase of 33,406 ft in 17 minutes. The enroute climb phase was followed by a 47-minute level cruise, during which the aircraft covered 330 nm, 1 mile north east of Marktleugast, Germany. The aircraft then began its descent, passing 1 mile south of Westkapelle, Belgium, and continued to descend to 7,064 ft asl, a decrease of 28,286 ft in 17 minutes. The aircraft then leveled off for brief periods, cruising at 13 nm north west of Brookland, Kent, England, and 8 nm south east of Edenbridge, Kent, England, before commencing its final approach to runway 26L at London Gatwick Airport.
The Airbus A319 touched down on runway 26L at EGKK London Gatwick Airport, with a touchdown speed of 125 kt, slightly above the target speed. The touchdown point was 400 m beyond the touchdown zone, and the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.8 m from the centreline. The total landing distance was 1,957 m, covering 78% of the runway. Following a 11-minute taxiing period, the aircraft arrived at the parking area, having completed a total flight distance of 597 nm, using 4,103 kg of fuel in the process, and taking a total of 115 minutes to complete the journey.
The final approach to runway 26L at EGKK London Gatwick Airport from the east was initiated at 4 nm and 1,278 ft above ground level, heading 258.0°. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a threshold height of 69 ft above ground level, which was above the target. The threshold speed of 134 kt was slightly above the target, indicating a slight increase in power application during the final stages of the approach.
The aircraft touched down 400 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 125 kt, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate of -200 fpm was fair, indicating a relatively smooth touchdown. However, the runway touchdown position was misaligned by 7.8 m from the centreline, which may have contributed to the slightly fast touchdown speed. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 14 °C and winds of 9 kt at 310°, resulted in a crosswind of 7 kt and a headwind of 6 kt.
The total landing distance of 1,957 m was 78% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 14.1 m from the centreline, which may have been a result of the initial touchdown position. Overall, the landing performance scored 82.2%, indicating a satisfactory but not exceptional landing.
