Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,008 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 132 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Great job on achieving a landing score of 96.7%! Let's breakdown the different phases of the landing to see what went well and where there might be areas for improvement.
In the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, which indicates good control and precision in managing the aircraft's descent. This is a crucial aspect of a successful landing, so it's great to see that you were on point here.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, it's fantastic to hear that you had a good threshold height and a very good landing flare. These factors contribute to a smooth and controlled touchdown, which is essential for a safe and comfortable landing experience for both passengers and crew.
In the Touchdown Phase, it seems like there were some minor areas that could be improved upon. While the touchdown rate was a bit hard and the speed was slightly above target, the fact that the touchdown distance was inside the touchdown zone is a positive sign. Additionally, having a very good runway touchdown position is crucial, so it's great to see that you were able to achieve this.
Finally, during the Rollout Phase, it's noted that the runway alignment was slightly off at 6.7 meters from the centerline. While this may not be a major issue, it's something to keep in mind for future landings to ensure that you maintain proper alignment with the runway centerline.
Overall, you should be proud of your high landing score of 96.7% and the positive aspects of each phase of the landing. Keep up the great work and continue to fine-tune your skills to further improve your performance in all aspects of the landing process. Great job!
