Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,000 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,000 ft of the 6,287 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 1,123 ft touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The aircraft, a Vision Jet, began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, taking 10 minutes and covering a distance of 2 nautical miles. It then proceeded with the departure roll, taking off from runway 08 at KDEN Denver International Airport. The takeoff distance was recorded as 2,248 feet, which equates to 19% of the runway length. Upon taking off, the aircraft reached a liftoff speed of 96 knots.
The initial climb phase of the flight started approximately 2 miles east of KDEN Denver International Airport. From a runway elevation of 6,341 feet above sea level, the aircraft climbed to a remarkable altitude of 31,842 feet above sea level, an increase of 25,501 feet over a distance of 83 nautical miles, within a timeframe of 22 minutes.
Subsequently, the enroute level cruise phase initiated 6 miles northeast of Flagler in Colorado. The Vision Jet maintained this altitude for a period of 34 minutes while covering a distance of 196 nautical miles. The next segment of the flight was the enroute descent phase, which began approximately 3 miles southeast of Larned in Kansas. From an altitude of 31,881 feet above sea level, the aircraft descended to 2,617 feet above sea level, decreasing its height by a significant margin of 29,264 feet over a span of 78 nautical miles, lasting a mere 19 minutes.
The final approach to runway 14 at KICT Wichita Eisenhower National Airport took place, coming from the northwest with a bearing of 150.0°. The aircraft descended to an altitude of 1,284 feet above ground level while still 4 nautical miles away from the runway. As the Vision Jet touched down on runway 14, with a length of 6,287 feet, the threshold height was reported as good, but the threshold speed exceeded the target at 84 knots.
The touchdown distance was found to be good at 1,115 feet, although the touchdown speed of 74 knots was slightly faster than desired. The aircraft landed with a smooth descent rate of -146 feet per minute. However, the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned, deviating by 39 feet from the centreline. At the time of landing, the local weather conditions were characterised by a temperature of 75°F, a wind speed of 12 knots at 120° and, more significantly, a strong headwind component of 10 knots.
Following the landing, the aircraft underwent a runway rollout alignment process, but the result was a slight misalignment by 41 feet from the centreline. The final leg of the flight involved taxiing to the parking area, which took approximately 3 minutes and covered a short distance of less than 1 nautical mile. Taking into consideration the entire flight journey, the total distance covered by the Vision Jet was an impressive 366 nautical miles. The flight utilised a total of 92 minutes and approximately 583 pounds of fuel.
A report of a Vision Jet aircraft landing at KICT Wichita Eisenhower National Airport has been compiled based on the provided data. The aircraft successfully completed its final approach to runway 14 from a heading of 150.0°, a distance of 4 nm, and an altitude of 1,284 ft above ground level (agl).
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was significantly above the target speed with a value of 84 kt. Despite this, the touchdown distance was considered good at 1,115 ft. However, the touchdown speed itself was somewhat faster than ideal at 74 kt, indicating a possible need for adjustments during the approach.
The aircraft's landing performance was further characterized by a smooth touchdown rate of -146 fpm, which is a key indicator of a well-executed landing. Nevertheless, the touchdown position was misaligned by 39 ft from the centerline of the runway.
Weather conditions were moderate, with a temperature of 75 °F and a wind of 12 kt blowing at 120°. Breaking down the wind into its components, the crosswind component was 6 kt, while the headwind component accounted for 10 kt. These conditions likely had some impact on the aircraft's final landing performance and roll-out.
During the post-touchdown roll-out on the runway, the aircraft's alignment was found to be slightly misaligned from the centerline by 41 ft. Lastly, the total landing distance recorded was 2,411 ft, which represents an acceptable 38% usage of the available runway length of 6,287 ft.
These findings, taken together, paint a picture of a landing that was generally well-executed but featured a few areas where adjustments could be made for improvements, such as achieving a more favorable touchdown speed.
