Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,671 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 671 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 777F departed from runway 23L at NZAA Auckland International Airport, achieving liftoff after a take-off roll of 904 m, which represented 25 % of the runway length, at a speed of 157 kt. Ambient conditions were 13 °C with a wind from 217° at 26 kt, including a 14 kt cross-wind component and a 21 kt head-wind component.
Climbing out over NZAA, the aircraft rose from 1,004 ft asl to 1,550 ft asl, gaining 546 ft in one minute while covering three nautical miles.
Cruise commenced two miles south of the airport and continued for four minutes, during which the aircraft travelled twelve nautical miles at level flight.
A go-around was executed on runway 23L at an altitude of 539 ft agl, after which the flight resumed the approach sequence.
The descent phase reduced altitude from 1,338 ft agl to 69 ft agl in 102 seconds, establishing the aircraft on the final approach path.
Final approach to runway 23L proceeded with the aircraft descending as described, and the approach was recorded as having met the stabilisation gates.
Landing occurred on runway 23L, whose total length is 3,671 m; the threshold speed was slightly above target at 154 kt. Touchdown was recorded 255 m beyond the touchdown zone at a speed of 136 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 254 fpm. The touchdown point was offset 8.3 m from the centreline, and the runway rollout ended with a lateral deviation of 12.6 m from centreline. Total landing distance measured 1,179 m, representing 32 % of the runway.
The rollout concluded the flight, after which the aircraft taxied off the runway.
In total, the flight covered 39 nm, required 15 minutes of elapsed time, and consumed 2,957 kg of fuel.
The Boeing 777F approached runway 23L at NZAA Auckland International Airport in a stabilised configuration at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope, centreline and speed all within limits. Descent was from 1,338 ft agl to 69 ft agl over 102 seconds, and the aircraft maintained the required parameters throughout the final approach. Local conditions were 13 °C with a wind of 26 kt from 217°, comprising a 21 kt headwind and a 14 kt crosswind.
During the threshold and flare phase the threshold speed was slightly above target at 154 kt, while the touchdown speed of 136 kt was recorded as good. The aircraft achieved a touchdown rate assessed as fair at minus 254 fpm and the touchdown point occurred 255 m beyond the designated touchdown zone. The touchdown position was offset 8.3 m from the runway centreline.
At touchdown the aircraft’s speed of 136 kt and rate of minus 254 fpm were maintained, with the landing point 255 m beyond the touchdown zone and a lateral deviation of 8.3 m from centreline. The runway length of 3,671 m provided ample margin, and the total landing distance used was 1,179 m, representing 32 % of the available runway.
Rollout continued with a slight centreline deviation of 12.6 m and the aircraft decelerated within the remaining runway, completing the landing after covering the 1,179 m distance. Alignment remained within acceptable limits for the final phase of the roll.
Minor refinements should focus on tightening centreline alignment both at touchdown and during rollout, and adjusting the threshold speed to meet the target value. Reducing the lateral offset will further improve precision without affecting the overall high score of 92.8 %.
