MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Work on the flare
Arrive slow and the sink rate at the threshold is already above schedule, the flare is short because there is no energy to extend it, and the touchdown is hard in a way that feels exactly like a late flare. Diagnosing a slow arrival as a late flare is the catastrophic misread: you respond by flaring earlier, which bleeds more speed, which makes the next one worse. The tiebreaker is threshold speed against VRef, not feel. Never diagnose a flare without it.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 5,253 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,253 ft of the 9,812 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 2,404 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in the Airbus A340-600 started at KSFO San Francisco International Airport, with a relatively short taxiing time of 4 minutes covering less than 1 nm before departure from runway 01L. The takeoff distance was 1,575 m, with a liftoff speed of 159 kn. The local weather at the time of departure was 14°C with no wind.
After takeoff, the enroute climb began 1 mile northeast of the airport, climbing from 997 ft asl to 38,977 ft asl in 24 minutes, covering 149 nm. The level cruise phase began 1 mile east of Shaver Lake and lasted 99 minutes, covering 869 nm. The descent phase started 2 miles northwest of 55T Eagles Aerodrome, descending from 38,994 ft asl to 10,591 ft asl in 28 minutes, covering 164 nm. Another brief cruise phase started 7 miles west of Union City lasting 7 minutes, covering 21 nm, before descending again 2 miles west of Bethany from 8,996 ft asl to 3,083 ft asl in 3 minutes, covering 6 nm.
The final approach to runway 17L at KOKC Will Rogers World Airport was made from the north at 4 nm and 1,779 ft agl. The landing on runway 17L was slightly challenging, with the touchdown point 84 m beyond the designated zone and a fast touchdown speed of 152 kn resulting in a very heavy touchdown rate of -911 ft/m. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 3.7 m from the centerline. The total landing distance was 1,287 m, which was 43% of the runway length, with a very good runway rollout alignment.
After landing, taxiing back to the parking area took 4 minutes to cover less than 1 nm of distance. The total flight distance covered was 1,217 nm, taking 177 minutes and consuming 26,281 kg of fuel.
