Track the centreline on final
Preparing for a stable approach will give you time to decide on whether to attempt the landing or going around. Too much altitude with a high sink rate will result in carrying too much speed onto the runway. Configuring flaps and the gear late also won't help the speed decay.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.

The rest of the report
The Airbus A220-300 taxied from the parking area to runway 02 at KRIC Richmond International Airport in 2 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
During the departure roll on runway 02, the aircraft accelerated through a takeoff distance of 5,488 ft, representing 83 % of the runway length, and lifted off at 143 kt. Ambient temperature was 88 °F with a wind of 2 kt from 287°, a crosswind component of 2 kt and no headwind.
Climb commenced overhead Highland Springs, Virginia, with the airplane ascending from 1,286 ft asl to 37,307 ft asl, an increase of 36,022 ft achieved in 28 minutes while covering 184 nm.
Level cruise began 5 miles north of Port Republic, New Jersey, and was maintained for 15 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 106 nm.
Descent was initiated 2 miles south-east of Ridge, New York, with the flight descending from 37,304 ft asl to 1,323 ft asl, a loss of 35,981 ft in 22 minutes and a distance of 125 nm.
The final approach to runway 04R at KBOS Logan International Airport was flown from the south, on a heading of 21.0°, at 4 nm and 1,292 ft agl.
Landing on runway 04R, which is 8,836 ft long, was executed with a threshold speed of 130 kt. Touchdown occurred 955 ft down the runway at 125 kt, with a touchdown rate of minus 244 fpm and a lateral deviation of 16 ft from the centreline. The total landing distance was 3,866 ft, representing 44 % of the runway. Local weather at the time was 68 °F, wind 2 kt from 232°, a crosswind of 1 kt and a tailwind component of 2 kt.
Runway rollout alignment was reported as very good.
After landing, the aircraft taxied from the runway to the parking area in 3 minutes, covering less than 1 nm.
In total, the flight covered 423 nm, took 74 minutes, and consumed 5,017 lb of fuel.
The Airbus A220-300 executed the final approach to runway 04R at KBOS Logan International Airport from the south, tracking a heading of 21.0° at 4 nm and 1,292 ft AGL. The approach was assessed as stabilised at the 1,000 ft gate, with gear, flaps, sink rate, glideslope and centreline all within limits.
During the threshold and flare segment the aircraft presented a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was good at 130 kt. Touchdown distance was good at 955 ft and touchdown speed was good at 125 kt. The touchdown rate was fair at minus 244 fpm and the runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 16 ft from the centreline.
Touchdown occurred with the recorded speed of 125 kt, a descent rate of minus 244 fpm and a ground roll of 955 ft from the threshold. The aircraft crossed the centreline 16 ft to the right of the ideal line, and the total landing distance measured 3,866 ft, representing 44 % of the available 8,836 ft runway.
Rollout alignment was very good, and the aircraft remained on the centreline through the remaining 3,866 ft of runway. Local weather was 68 °F with wind 2 kt from 232°, a 1 kt crosswind component and a 2 kt tailwind component.
Refine centreline tracking to eliminate the 16-ft offset and adjust the flare to reduce the descent rate toward a smoother touchdown. These focused adjustments will convert the already high 99.0 % score into an even more consistent performance.
