Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
At the 1,000 ft gate: gear still up and sink rate above what the glideslope needed.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,524 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 339 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the aircraft taxiing from the parking area to the runway at Manchester Airport, taking 6 minutes and covering a distance of 1 nautical mile. The departure roll took place on runway 23L, with a takeoff distance of 1,675 meters, which was 59% of the runway length. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 166 knots.
As the aircraft took to the skies, it encountered local weather conditions of 18°C temperature and a wind speed of 10 knots at 179 degrees. The crosswind was 8 knots, while the headwind was 6 knots. The enroute climb started overhead Mobberley in Cheshire East, England, where the aircraft climbed from 1,273 feet above sea level to 4,924 feet above sea level, an increase of 3,651 feet in just 2 minutes, covering a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 3 miles north-east of Northwich in Cheshire West and Chester, England, and lasted for 2 minutes, covering a distance of 7 nautical miles. The aircraft then started another enroute climb 1 mile south of Holmes Chapel in Cheshire East, England, where it climbed from 4,957 feet above sea level to 37,561 feet above sea level, an increase of 32,604 feet in 23 minutes, covering a distance of 178 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise resumed 21 miles south of Goring-by-Sea in West Sussex, England, and lasted for 51 minutes, covering a distance of 452 nautical miles. As the aircraft approached its destination, it started its enroute descent 1 mile north-east of La Bastide-de-Bousignac in Occitanie, France, where it descended from 37,752 feet above sea level to 1,313 feet above sea level, a decrease of 36,438 feet in 25 minutes, covering a distance of 111 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 02 at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport took place from the south, heading 19.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,287 feet above ground level. The landing on runway 02 was successful, with a touchdown distance of 342 meters, which was good. However, the touchdown speed of 152 knots was fast, and the touchdown rate was firm at -340 feet per minute.
The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 8.4 meters from the centreline, and the local weather conditions were 25°C temperature and a wind speed of 4 knots at 80 degrees. The crosswind was 4 knots, while the headwind was 2 knots. The total landing distance was 950 meters, which was 38% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 8.6 meters from the centreline.
After landing, the aircraft taxiing to the parking area took 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 761 nautical miles, taking 115 minutes, and the aircraft used 4,486 kilograms of fuel during the flight.
The Airbus A320 successfully landed at LEBL Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, achieving a score of 93.6%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south, heading 19.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,287 feet above ground level (agl). The final approach was executed with a good threshold height, indicating that the aircraft was properly configured for landing.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft's threshold speed was significantly above the target speed, reaching 160 knots. This suggests that the pilots may have been attempting to maintain a high speed during the approach, possibly due to factors such as wind or air traffic control instructions. The touchdown distance of 342 meters was within acceptable limits, indicating that the pilots had sufficient control over the aircraft's descent.
However, the touchdown speed of 152 knots was faster than desired, resulting in a firm touchdown rate of -340 feet per minute (fpm). This may have been due to the pilots' decision to maintain a high speed during the approach, as mentioned earlier. The runway touchdown position was also slightly misaligned from the centreline, deviating by 8.4 meters.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 25°C and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 80°. The crosswind component was 4 knots, while the headwind component was 2 knots. These conditions may have contributed to the pilots' decision to maintain a high speed during the approach.
The total landing distance of 950 meters was 38% of the runway length, indicating that the pilots had sufficient control over the aircraft's rollout. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned from the centreline, deviating by 8.6 meters. Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the aircraft achieving a high score despite some minor deviations from the desired parameters.
