Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,765 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,765 m of the 3,990 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 702 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from ZSAM Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, the Boeing 737-800 began its journey with a taxiing period of 12 minutes, covering 2 nautical miles to reach the runway. The departure roll commenced on runway 05, with the aircraft taking off in a distance of 1,600 meters, utilizing 52% of the runway. The liftoff speed was achieved at 156 knots, as the aircraft lifted off into the local weather conditions of 27°C temperature and a 4-knot headwind at 350°.
As the aircraft climbed to its enroute level, it ascended from 1,054 feet above sea level to 36,260 feet, an increase of 35,206 feet in 19 minutes, covering 119 nautical miles. The climb phase was followed by a 107-minute enroute level cruise, which covered 868 nautical miles, with the aircraft flying 2 miles north-east of ZSFZ Fuzhou Changle International Airport. The descent phase began 5 miles south of Asan, South Korea, with the aircraft descending from 35,406 feet to 3,129 feet in 20 minutes, covering 107 nautical miles. The final approach to Incheon International Airport was executed with precision, with the aircraft touching down at 123 knots, achieving an excellent touchdown rate of -85 feet per minute.
The landing rollout at Incheon International Airport covered a distance of 941 meters, with the aircraft taxiing to the parking area in 6 minutes, covering 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance of 1,116 nautical miles was completed in 164 minutes, utilizing 6,904 kilograms of fuel. The flight's performance was marked by efficient climb and cruise phases, followed by a precise descent and landing.
The Boeing 737-800 touched down safely on Runway 34L at Incheon International Airport, with a final approach quality score of 65.3%. The aircraft descended from 41 feet above ground level (agl) to 0 ft agl in a controlled manner, with a rate of descent of -85 feet per minute (fpm), which was deemed excellent. The touchdown speed of 123 knots was also within acceptable limits.
The touchdown point was located 112 meters beyond the touchdown zone, indicating a slight over-run. However, the aircraft's ability to maintain control and stability during the touchdown phase was satisfactory. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 15°C, with a wind speed of 15 knots from 210°. The crosswind component was 12 knots, while the headwind component was 9 knots. These conditions presented a moderate challenge to the pilot's ability to maintain directional control during the landing rollout.
The landing rollout was completed in a distance of 941 meters, with the aircraft maintaining a stable altitude of 22 feet above sea level (asl). The overall performance of the aircraft during the landing phase was satisfactory, with the pilot demonstrating good control and management of the aircraft's speed and direction. However, the approach quality score of 65.3% suggests that there is room for improvement in terms of precision and consistency.
