Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
At the 1,000 ft gate: centreline 1.1° off, against a 1° limit.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 3,671 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 276 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Boeing 777F taxied to runway 23L at NZAA Auckland International Airport and commenced the departure roll. Takeoff distance was 917 m, representing 25 % of the runway, and liftoff was achieved at 161 kt. Local weather reported a temperature of 17 °C, wind 17 kt at 280 °, with a cross-wind component of 8 kt and a head-wind component of 15 kt.
Climb began overhead NZAA, with the aircraft ascending from 862 ft asl to 1,566 ft asl, an increase of 703 ft achieved in 1 minute while covering 3 nm.
Level cruise was initiated 2 miles south of NZAA and continued for 4 minutes, during which the aircraft travelled 11 nm.
Descent for the final approach reduced altitude from 1,167 ft agl to 48 ft agl in 103 seconds, and the aircraft scored on the stabilisation gates.
The final approach to runway 23L at NZAA was conducted in temperature 14 °C, wind 20 kt at 275 °, with a cross-wind of 8 kt and a head-wind of 18 kt.
Landing on runway 23L, whose length is 3,671 m, featured a threshold speed of 147 kt. Touchdown occurred at 274 m down the runway with a speed of 144 kt, noted as a little fast, and a firm touchdown rate of minus 384 fpm. Runway touchdown alignment was perfect; total landing distance measured 1,135 m, equal to 31 % of the runway, and the rollout alignment was slightly off centreline by 12.1 m.
During rollout the aircraft maintained control while completing the deceleration phase, with the noted 12.1 m lateral deviation from centreline.
In summary, the flight covered a total distance of 20 nm, taking 7, and consumed 1,940 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 23L at NZAA Auckland International Airport was assessed as unstable at the 1,000 ft gate, being off the centreline. The aircraft descended from 1,167 ft agl to 48 ft agl in 103 seconds and was scored on the stabilisation gates.
At threshold the height was reported as good and the threshold speed was good at 147 kt.
Touchdown occurred 274 m down the runway, a distance judged good, with a touchdown speed of 144 kt that was a little fast. The vertical rate was firm at minus 384 fpm and runway touchdown alignment was perfect.
The total landing distance was 1,135 m, representing 31 % of the 3,671 m runway, and the rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 12.1 m from the centreline.
Maintain a precise centreline on the final approach to avoid the off-centreline condition noted at the 1,000 ft gate, and adjust the final-approach speed to stay closer to the target VREF to eliminate the slight excess observed at touchdown.
