Avoid steep turns at low altitude
Below a thousand feet the aeroplane is slow, heavy and close to the ground. A steep turn loses lift, raises the stall speed and flattens the climb just when the gradient matters most. A normal turn on course is a rate one — fifteen degrees or so, twenty-five at the outside, this penalty is to acknowledge when a turn has stopped being a turn and become a manoeuvre.

One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 4,036 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 438 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Overall, this landing demonstrated strong skills in all phases of the approach. The rate of descent, heading alignment, and speed were all excellent during the approach phase. The landing phase showed good technique with a perfect flare at the threshold height. The touchdown phase had a fair touchdown rate, but the speed and distance were very good, along with excellent runway alignment. The rollout phase also had good runway alignment.
To improve future landings, focus on maintaining a steady touchdown rate to ensure a smooth landing. Additionally, continue to pay attention to runway alignment throughout all phases of the landing. Overall, this was a solid landing with room for improvement in consistency and alignment. Keep up the good work!
