MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Smooth the climb
Pull to 15 degrees at one rate and you get a clean liftoff, pull to the same 15 degrees at twice the rate and you get an overshoot, a push, and an oscillation through the first few hundred feet. The type-general rule of thumb is a rotation rate of about 2 to 3 degrees per second, which means roughly five to seven seconds from starting the pull to reaching the initial climb attitude of around 15 degrees nose-up. Count it out loud during your next takeoff and you will almost certainly discover you have been rotating in two seconds flat.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,560 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,560 m of the 3,357 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 328 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The Embraer E175 aircraft began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took 4 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. It then departed from runway 30R at the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (KMSP), with a takeoff distance of 1,356 meters, which accounted for 56% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 149 knots.
As the aircraft climbed to its cruising altitude, it encountered local weather conditions of 15°C temperature and a wind speed of 2 knots at 320°. The crosswind was 1 knot, while the headwind was 2 knots. The enroute climb started 1 mile northwest of KMSP and reached an altitude of 33,768 feet above sea level, an increase of 31,922 feet in 10 minutes, covering a distance of 87 nautical miles.
The enroute level cruise began 6 miles southwest of the Mille Lacs Lake Resort Airport (7MN4) and lasted for 7 minutes, covering a distance of 156 nautical miles. The aircraft then started its enroute descent 7 miles southwest of the Erickson Airport (87MN), descending from 34,094 feet to 2,088 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,006 feet in 13 minutes, covering a distance of 106 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 18 at the Winnipeg / James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (CYWG) was made from the north, heading 188.0° at 4 nautical miles and 1,297 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 18, which had a length of 3,357 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 135 knots.
The touchdown distance was good at 330 meters, but the touchdown speed was a little fast at 128 knots. The touchdown rate was fair at -247 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were 8°C temperature and a wind speed of 8 knots at 187°, with a crosswind of 0 knots and a headwind of 8 knots.
After landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, a process that took 3 minutes and covered less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 357 nautical miles, taking 40 minutes, and the aircraft used 1,510 kilograms of fuel.
The Embraer E175 aircraft successfully landed at Winnipeg / James Armstrong Richardson International Airport (CYWG) with a score of 99.7%. The final approach to runway 18 was initiated from the north, heading 188.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,297 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, indicating a smooth and controlled descent. However, the threshold speed was slightly above the target speed of 135 knots, which may have been due to the aircraft's weight or other factors. The touchdown distance of 330 meters was within acceptable limits, demonstrating good control and precision during the landing.
Despite a slightly fast touchdown speed of 128 knots, the aircraft's touchdown rate of -247 feet per minute (fpm) was fair, indicating a relatively smooth transition from the air to the ground. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, suggesting that the aircraft was properly aligned with the runway centerline during the landing.
The local weather conditions at the time of the landing were characterized by a temperature of 8°C and a wind speed of 8 knots from 187°. The crosswind component was negligible, while the headwind component was 8 knots, which may have contributed to the slightly fast touchdown speed.
The total landing distance of 1,481 meters was 44% of the runway length, indicating a relatively short landing distance. The runway rollout alignment was perfect, demonstrating excellent control and precision during the rollout phase of the landing.
Overall, the Embraer E175 aircraft performed well during the landing at CYWG, with a high score and good control throughout the entire process.
