Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,074 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 279 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with the departure roll from runway 28 at Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport, where the Airbus A319 took off with a takeoff distance of 1,457 meters, which is 49% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 164 knots. At the time of departure, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 12 knots from 219 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 10 knots and a headwind of 6 knots.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it began its enroute climb 1 mile west of the airport, rising from an altitude of 1,203 feet above sea level to 35,775 feet above sea level, an increase of 34,573 feet in just 19 minutes, covering a distance of 69 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise started 15 miles northeast of Cullera, Spain, and lasted for 134 minutes, covering a distance of 618 nautical miles.
The enroute descent began 7 miles east of Reville, France, where the aircraft descended from 34,792 feet above sea level to 2,476 feet above sea level, a decrease of 32,316 feet in 25 minutes, covering a distance of 137 nautical miles. The aircraft then leveled off overhead Ware, England, for a brief period of 6 minutes, covering a distance of 11 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 25 at London Luton Airport was made from the east, heading 255.0 degrees at 4 nautical miles and 1,263 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 25, which has a length of 2,074 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and a wind speed of 13 knots from 210 degrees, resulting in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 9 knots.
The touchdown distance was 280 meters, which is 39% of the runway length, and the touchdown speed was 120 knots, which was considered good. However, the touchdown rate was hard at -404 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 15.1 meters from the centreline. The total landing distance was 817 meters, and the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 15.1 meters from the centreline.
In total, the flight covered a distance of 841 nautical miles, taking 142 minutes, and used 5,036 kilograms of fuel.
The Airbus A319 aircraft successfully landed at EGGW London Luton Airport, achieving a score of 91.5%. The final approach to runway 25 was conducted from the east, heading 255.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,263 feet above ground level (agl).
The aircraft touched down on the runway with a good threshold height, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 128 knots. The touchdown distance of 280 meters was within acceptable limits, and the touchdown speed of 120 knots was also good. However, the touchdown rate was slightly hard at -404 feet per minute (fpm), which may indicate a slightly aggressive approach.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 10°C and a wind speed of 13 knots from 210°. This resulted in a crosswind of 9 knots and a headwind of 9 knots. Despite these conditions, the aircraft maintained a stable approach and landed safely.
However, there were some minor issues with the landing. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 15.1 meters from the centerline, which may indicate a slight deviation from the intended landing path. Additionally, the runway rollout alignment was also slightly misaligned by 15.1 meters from the centerline, which may indicate a slight difficulty in maintaining a straight path during the rollout phase.
Overall, the landing was successful, but there were some minor issues that need to be addressed to improve the aircraft's performance and safety. The total landing distance of 817 meters was 39% of the runway length, which is within acceptable limits.
