Improve the rollout
A crosswind landing is a geometry problem. The air mass you're flying in is moving sideways across the runway, and you need your ground track down the centreline with your wheels aligned to it at the moment of contact. There are two techniques that will help, the crab and the sideslip.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,830 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,830 m of the 3,889 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 635 m past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Aircraft departed from Jersey Airport, EGJJ, on runway 08, with a takeoff distance of 1,134 meters, utilizing 73% of the available runway. The local weather conditions at the time of departure featured a temperature of 17 °C, with a wind speed of 13 kt at 30 °, resulting in a crosswind of 11 kt and a headwind of 8 kt. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 145 kt, meeting the required liftoff speed.
Following departure, the aircraft initiated an enroute climb, ascending from 1,238 ft to 5,016 ft in 3 minutes, covering a distance of 9 nm. This was followed by a level cruise phase, lasting 9 minutes and covering 39 nm. The aircraft then entered another climb phase, this time from 5,008 ft to 21,966 ft in 7 minutes, covering 31 nm. The climb was followed by a series of level cruise phases, with the final descent initiated 1 mile north east of Shorwell, Isle of Wight, England. The aircraft descended from 21,812 ft to 7,147 ft in 10 minutes, covering 46 nm. The final approach to runway 27R at London Heathrow Airport, EGLL, was initiated from the east, with a heading of 270.0 ° at 4 nm and 1,357 ft agl.
The aircraft landed on runway 27R, with a total landing distance of 1,758 meters, utilizing 49% of the available runway. The touchdown point was 228 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 130 kt, slightly above the target speed. The runway touchdown position was misaligned by 12.4 meters from the centreline. Following landing, the aircraft taxied to the parking area, taking 7 minutes and covering less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 180 nm, with a flight time of 57 minutes, and the aircraft utilized 2,119 kg of fuel.
The final approach to runway 27R at EGLL London Heathrow Airport was initiated from the east, heading 270.0° at 4 nm and 1,357 ft above ground level. The approach quality was satisfactory, with a threshold height of 61 ft above ground level, which was above the target. However, the threshold speed of 145 kt was significantly higher than the target, indicating a potential for a long rollout.
The aircraft touched down 228 m beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 130 kt, which was a little fast. The touchdown rate of -246 fpm was fair, but not ideal. Upon touchdown, the aircraft was misaligned with the runway centreline by 12.4 m. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 14 °C and a wind of 8 kt at 340°, contributed to a crosswind of 8 kt and a headwind of 3 kt. The total landing distance of 1,758 m was 49% of the runway length, indicating a relatively long rollout.
During the rollout, the aircraft remained slightly misaligned with the runway centreline by 11.9 m. Despite this, the overall landing performance was satisfactory, with a score of 86.2%. The landing was completed safely, but with some room for improvement in terms of approach speed, touchdown speed, and centreline alignment.
