Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with five checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 5,946 ft of the approach.
Plan view — the first 5,946 ft of the 8,988 ft runway, to the same scale as the side view.
Touched down 1,952 ft past the threshold — beyond the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles. The aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, then departed from runway 17R at KDFW Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The takeoff distance was 3,336 feet, which is 25% of the runway length. The liftoff speed was 151 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 75°F and a wind speed of 7 knots from a direction of 180°. This resulted in a headwind of 7 knots, with no crosswind. The aircraft began its enroute climb 1 mile south of KDFW Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, rising from an altitude of 1,570 feet above sea level to 24,044 feet above sea level in 8 minutes, covering a distance of 47 nautical miles.
Following the initial climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, which started 2 miles northwest of 4TE1 Figure 1 Ranch Airport Booker. This phase lasted for 11 minutes and covered a distance of 68 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent 1 mile west of 6TS6 Wood Crest Ranch Airport Normangee, descending from 24,084 feet above sea level to 6,057 feet above sea level in 16 minutes, covering a distance of 77 nautical miles.
The aircraft entered another level cruise phase 5 miles south of Woodbranch, which lasted for 9 minutes and covered a distance of 22 nautical miles. The final descent phase began 2 miles south of Liberty, where the aircraft descended from 5,684 feet above sea level to 1,387 feet above sea level in 9 minutes, covering a distance of 23 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 26R at KIAH George Bush Intercontinental Houston Airport was made from the east, with a heading of 270.0° at an altitude of 4 nautical miles and 1,286 feet above ground level. The landing was made on runway 26R, which has a length of 8,988 feet. The threshold height was good, but the threshold speed was slightly above the target at 145 knots.
The touchdown point was 606 feet beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 138 knots, which is a little fast. The touchdown rate was fair at -217 feet per minute. The runway touchdown alignment was very good. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 73°F and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 210°, resulting in a crosswind of 3 knots and a headwind of 2 knots.
The total landing distance was 5,700 feet, which is 63% of the runway length. The runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 27 feet from the centerline. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 11 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 246 nautical miles, and the flight duration was 74 minutes. The aircraft used 7,312 pounds of fuel during the flight.
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft successfully landed at KIAH George Bush Intercontinental Houston Airport, achieving a score of 95.8%. The final approach to runway 26R was initiated from the east, heading 270.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,286 feet above ground level (agl).
Upon landing, the aircraft touched down 606 feet beyond the touchdown zone, which is slightly outside the ideal landing spot. The touchdown speed of 138 knots was a bit faster than the target speed, indicating that the pilot may have applied a bit too much reverse thrust or failed to flare the aircraft sufficiently. However, the touchdown rate of -217 feet per minute (fpm) was considered fair, suggesting that the pilot managed to control the descent effectively.
The runway touchdown alignment was very good, indicating that the pilot maintained a stable and aligned approach to the runway. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were favorable, with a temperature of 73°F and a gentle wind of 4 knots from 210°. The crosswind component was minimal at 3 knots, while the headwind component was 2 knots, which had a negligible impact on the landing.
The total landing distance of 5,700 feet was 63% of the runway length, which is a reasonable distance considering the aircraft's weight and the wind conditions. However, the runway rollout alignment was slightly misaligned by 27 feet from the centerline, indicating that the pilot may have applied a bit too much rudder or failed to maintain a straight course during the rollout.
Overall, the landing was considered successful, with the pilot demonstrating good control and management of the aircraft during the approach and touchdown phases. However, there is room for improvement in terms of touchdown speed and runway rollout alignment.
