Monitor your taxi speed
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,847 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 341 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 7 minutes and covered a distance of 3 nautical miles. The aircraft then departed from runway 07C at Frankfurt Airport (EDDF), with a takeoff distance of 669 meters, which accounted for 17% of the runway. The liftoff speed was 137 knots.
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 4 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at a direction of 90 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a headwind of 4 knots. The aircraft then began its enroute climb, starting overhead Frankfurt Airport, and climbed from an altitude of 1,362 feet above sea level to 28,539 feet above sea level, an increase of 27,176 feet, in 10 minutes and covering a distance of 55 nautical miles.
Following the enroute climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise, starting 2 miles south west of Erndtebrueck, Germany, and lasted for 12 minutes, covering a distance of 107 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, starting 1 mile west of Vriezenveen, Netherlands, and descended from 29,086 feet above sea level to 2,794 feet above sea level, a decrease of 26,292 feet, in 9 minutes and covering a distance of 51 nautical miles.
The aircraft then entered another level cruise, starting 3 miles east of Volendam, Netherlands, and lasted for 3 minutes, covering a distance of 14 nautical miles. The aircraft then began its final descent, starting 1 mile south west of Oostknollendam, Netherlands, and descended from 2,780 feet above sea level to 1,228 feet above sea level, a decrease of 1,553 feet, in 2 minutes and covering a distance of 6 nautical miles.
The final approach to runway 18C at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (EHAM) was made from the north, heading 183.0 degrees, at an altitude of 1,227 feet above ground level and a distance of 4 nautical miles from the runway. The landing was made on runway 18C, which had a length of 2,847 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also good at 117 knots.
The touchdown point was 54 meters beyond the touchdown zone, and the touchdown speed was 113 knots, which was a little fast. However, the touchdown rate was smooth at -135 feet per minute. The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned by 4.3 meters from the centerline. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, with a wind speed of 4 knots at a direction of 149 degrees. This resulted in a crosswind of 2 knots and a headwind of 4 knots.
The total landing distance was 1,418 meters, which accounted for 50% of the runway. The runway rollout alignment was very good. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 2 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 243 nautical miles, and the flight took 49 minutes, using 723 kilograms of fuel.
Aircraft C750 successfully landed at EHAM Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, achieving a score of 98.1%. The final approach was conducted from the north, heading 183.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,227 feet above ground level (agl). The aircraft landed on runway 18C, which has a length of 2,847 meters.
The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 117 knots. However, the touchdown point was slightly beyond the designated touchdown zone, located 54 meters past the threshold. The touchdown speed of 113 knots was a bit faster than ideal, but the touchdown rate was smooth at -135 feet per minute (fpm).
The runway touchdown position was slightly misaligned from the centerline by 4.3 meters. The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 7°C, with a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 149°. The crosswind component was minimal at 2 knots, while the headwind component was 4 knots.
The total landing distance covered by the aircraft was 1,418 meters, which is approximately 50% of the runway length. Notably, the runway rollout alignment was very good, indicating a high level of control and precision during the landing phase. Overall, the landing was successful, with the aircraft demonstrating good control and adherence to standard procedures.
