Improve the taxi
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,576 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,576 m of the 2,587 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 478 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
The flight in question was operated by Vueling, with the aircraft registration EC-MGZ. The flight began with a taxiing period from the parking to the runway, which took 10 minutes and covered a distance of 2 nautical miles (nm). The departure roll took place on runway 02 at LEJR Jerez Airport, with a takeoff distance of 1,246 meters, accounting for 54% of the runway. The aircraft lifted off at a speed of 141 knots (kt).
The local weather conditions at the time of departure were characterized by a temperature of 10 °C, with a wind speed of 2 kt at 339°. The crosswind component was 1 kt, while the headwind component was also 1 kt. Following the departure, the aircraft began its enroute climb, which started 1 mile northeast of LEJR Jerez Airport. The climb took place from an altitude of 1,105 feet above sea level (asl) to 34,900 ft asl, an increase of 33,795 ft in 18 minutes, covering a distance of 102 nm.
The enroute level cruise started 2 miles northwest of Arenas del Rey, lasting 31 minutes and covering 238 nm. The aircraft then began its enroute descent, which started 23 miles east of Javea. The descent took place from 35,152 ft asl to 19,766 ft asl, a decrease of 15,386 ft in 7 minutes, covering a distance of 52 nm. The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 16 miles southeast of Santa Eularia des Riu and lasted 2 minutes, covering 10 nm.
The final descent phase began 22 miles southeast of Santa Eularia des Riu, with the aircraft descending from 19,420 ft asl to 2,406 ft asl, a decrease of 17,014 ft in 14 minutes, covering a distance of 68 nm. The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, which started 2 miles south of Sineu and lasted 3 minutes, covering 9 nm. The final approach to runway 24L at LEPA Palma de Mallorca Airport was made from the northeast, with the aircraft heading 239.0° at 4 nm and 1,263 ft above ground level (agl).
The landing took place on runway 24L, which had a length of 2,587 meters. The threshold height was good, and the threshold speed was also satisfactory at 134 kt. The touchdown point was 59 meters beyond the touchdown zone, with a touchdown speed of 127 kt and a touchdown rate of -151 feet per minute (fpm). The runway touchdown alignment was very good, and the runway rollout alignment was also satisfactory.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were characterized by a temperature of 8 °C, with a wind speed of 4 kt at 50°. The crosswind component was 1 kt, while the tailwind component was 4 kt. The total landing distance was 1,492 meters, accounting for 58% of the runway. The taxiing period from the runway to the parking took 3 minutes and covered a distance of less than 1 nm. The total flight distance was 487 nm, taking 88 minutes, and the aircraft used 3,246 kg of fuel during the flight.
Aircraft Vueling EC-MGZ successfully landed at LEPA Palma de Mallorca Airport, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in its approach and landing procedures. The aircraft's final approach to runway 24L was initiated from the north east, heading 239.0° at a distance of 4 nautical miles and an altitude of 1,263 feet above ground level.
The aircraft's approach speed and threshold height were well within the acceptable limits, with a threshold speed of 134 knots being achieved. The touchdown point was located 59 meters beyond the designated touchdown zone, which is a relatively minor deviation. However, the touchdown speed of 127 knots was still within the acceptable range, and the touchdown rate of -151 feet per minute was also satisfactory.
The local weather conditions at the time of landing were relatively calm, with a temperature of 8°C and a wind speed of 4 knots from a direction of 50°. This resulted in a crosswind of 1 knot and a tailwind of 4 knots, which did not appear to have a significant impact on the aircraft's landing performance.
The total landing distance of 1,492 meters was 58% of the runway length, which is a relatively efficient use of the available runway. The runway rollout alignment was also very good, indicating that the aircraft's brakes were applied smoothly and effectively to bring the aircraft to a stop.
Overall, the landing of Vueling EC-MGZ at LEPA Palma de Mallorca Airport was a successful one, with the aircraft demonstrating a high level of proficiency in its approach and landing procedures. The minor deviation from the designated touchdown zone was not significant enough to impact the overall safety of the landing, and the aircraft was able to come to a stop within a reasonable distance from the runway threshold.
