MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Know your rotation speed
A typical trainer rotates in the mid-50s of knots - a 172 at around 55 KIAS, climbing out at a Vy in the low 70s, though check your own POH rather than memorising Cessna's numbers - and the transferable rule is that Vr sits just above the stall speed in takeoff configuration. Rotate early because "it felt ready" and the aircraft lifts off inside ground effect, where induced drag is reduced, then climbs out of it into more drag. On a marginal-performance day the result is an aircraft that lifts off and then refuses to climb, sagging back towards the runway.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
One stabilised approach gate: five checks where the approach path is 500 ft above the runway. The 1,000 ft gate was not assessed, because the approach did not join final that far out.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,360 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 273 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Congratulations on an outstanding aircraft landing score of 98.1%! Your performance throughout the Approach, Landing, Touchdown, and Rollout phases was truly remarkable.
During the Approach Phase, your glideslope alignment was excellent, showing your strong skills in maintaining proper altitude and trajectory towards the runway. Although your speed was slightly below target, this can easily be adjusted with practice and attention to detail.
Moving on to the Landing Phase, your approach was smooth and controlled, with a good threshold height and a perfect landing flare. This demonstrates your ability to handle the aircraft with precision and finesse, ensuring a safe and comfortable touchdown.
In the Touchdown Phase, your touchdown rate was well-executed, and your speed was on target. Additionally, the touchdown distance inside the touchdown zone and the runway touchdown position being 4.8 meters from the centerline indicates a high level of accuracy in your landing technique.
Lastly, during the Rollout Phase, your runway alignment was commendable with only 6.1 meters deviation from the centerline. This showcases your ability to maintain control and accuracy while taxiing the aircraft on the runway.
Overall, your performance was exceptional, and the high landing score is a testament to your dedication and skill as a pilot. Keep up the good work and continue to strive for excellence in every flight. Your attention to detail and proficiency in handling the aircraft is truly impressive. Keep flying high, and congratulations on a job well done!
