MY FS FLIGHTS
Flight Score
Slow down before tight turns
Twenty knots on a monitor produces the visual sensation of about ten. The advice to "taxi at a walking pace" cannot fix this, because your sense of walking pace is exactly the thing that's broken. Put the groundspeed readout in your scan and obey it for the next fifty flights, the way a student pilot leans on the airspeed indicator before learning to read attitude.

The threshold, the flare and the hold-off. The approach that led to it is the stabilisation gates below.
Two stabilised approach gates, each with seven checks, where the approach path is 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway. They are the approach's score: the checks passed out of the checks that ran.
The approach, gate by gate
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 2,433 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 237 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Minot International Airport (KMOT), the Embraer E175 began its journey by taxiing from the parking area to the runway, a process that took approximately 4 minutes and covered a distance of 1 nautical mile. As the aircraft lined up on runway 31, the local weather conditions were characterized by a temperature of 4 °C, with a wind speed of 13 kt blowing from 249 °. The aircraft's takeoff roll commenced, and it lifted off the ground at a speed of 144 kt, covering a distance of 1,375 meters, which accounted for 59% of the runway length.
As the aircraft climbed away from KMOT, it began its enroute climb, which started 1 mile northwest of the airport. The aircraft ascended from an initial altitude of 2,787 feet above sea level to a cruising altitude of 34,999 feet, an increase of 32,212 feet in just 10 minutes, covering a distance of 146 nautical miles. The enroute level cruise phase followed, during which the aircraft maintained a steady altitude for 5 minutes, covering 141 nautical miles. The descent phase commenced 1 mile northeast of Clarissa, Minnesota, and the aircraft descended from 34,999 feet to 3,993 feet in 10 minutes, covering 126 nautical miles. The aircraft then entered another level cruise phase, this time lasting 2 minutes and covering 8 nautical miles, before beginning its final descent.
As the aircraft approached Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (KMSP), it entered a final approach to runway 30R from the southeast, heading 301.0 ° at 4 nautical miles and 1,344 feet above ground level. The landing was executed with a threshold speed well above the target at 134 kt, and the touchdown distance was good at 235 meters. The touchdown speed was slightly fast at 131 kt, but the runway touchdown alignment was very good. The aircraft taxied to the parking area from the runway in 2 minutes, covering a distance of less than 1 nautical mile. The total flight distance was 436 nautical miles, and the aircraft used 1,489 kilograms of fuel during the 36-minute flight.
The Embraer E175 touched down on runway 30R at KMSP Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport with a score of 97.5%. The aircraft approached the runway from the south east, heading 301.0° at 4 nm and 1,344 ft above ground level. The final approach was characterized by good quality, with a smooth descent and a well-controlled rate of descent. The threshold height was satisfactory, and the threshold speed of 134 kt was significantly above the target, indicating a high level of pilot proficiency.
Upon touchdown, the aircraft exhibited a firm rate of descent of -342 fpm, with a touchdown speed of 131 kt, which was slightly faster than desired. However, the touchdown distance of 235 m was within acceptable limits. The runway touchdown alignment was very good, with the aircraft centered on the runway. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 8 °C and a headwind of 4 kt, contributed to a relatively smooth landing.
The rollout phase was also executed well, with the aircraft maintaining very good alignment on the runway centerline. The total landing distance of 1,278 m was 53% of the runway length, indicating a safe and controlled stop. Overall, the landing was characterized by good approach quality, a firm touchdown, and a smooth rollout, resulting in a high score of 97.5%.
