Smooth the climb
A good takeoff has a defined shape. It also has a defined end. For an airliner that's thrust reduction and acceleration, commonly somewhere around 1,000 to 1,500 ft above the airfield depending on the operator, while for a light aircraft it's established at Vy with the flaps on schedule. Most simmers have no defined end to their takeoff, which is exactly why it never gets judged.

Two stabilised approach gates, each with six checks at 1,000 ft and 500 ft above the runway.
Side view — the last 1,524 m of the approach.
Plan view — the first 1,524 m of the 1,800 m runway, to the same scale as the side view.
The 439 m touchdown sits inside the full-score zone. The arrival was smooth.
The rest of the report
Departing from Cotswold Airport, the Sting S4 aircraft began its takeoff roll on runway 26, accelerating to a liftoff speed of 57 kt in a distance of 224 m, which accounted for 14% of the available runway length. The local weather conditions were favorable, with a temperature of 16 °C and a gentle headwind of 1 kt from the west.
As the aircraft climbed away from the airport, it transitioned into an enroute climb phase, ascending from 572 ft above sea level to 617 ft in less than 1 minute, covering a distance of less than 1 nm. Following this brief climb, the aircraft entered a level cruise phase, maintaining a steady altitude for 3 minutes while covering a distance of 3 nm. The enroute climb and cruise phases were conducted from the same location, overhead Cotswold Airport Kemble.
Upon reaching the final approach phase, the aircraft began its descent onto runway 08, aligning with the runway heading of 76.0°. However, a go-around was initiated at 40 ft above ground level, and the aircraft subsequently landed on the same runway, touching down at a speed of 29 kt and a distance of 263 m. The touchdown rate was a perfect -17 fpm, and the runway touchdown alignment was also satisfactory. The total flight distance was 5 nm, and the aircraft used no fuel during the flight, which lasted 5 minutes.
The final approach to runway 08 at EGBP Cotswold Airport from the west was executed with precision, with the aircraft maintaining a heading of 76.0° at 0 nm and 69 ft above ground level. The approach quality was excellent, with a good threshold height and a threshold speed that was slightly above target at 55 kt. As the aircraft touched down on the 1,618 m long runway, it demonstrated a good touchdown distance of 263 m, with a speed of 29 kt that was well within the target range.
The touchdown characteristics of the aircraft were impressive, with a perfect touchdown rate of -17 fpm. The runway touchdown alignment was also perfect, indicating that the aircraft had maintained its centreline alignment throughout the approach and touchdown phases. The local weather conditions, with a temperature of 15 °C and a wind of 1 kt at 270°, contributed to a smooth and stable approach. The crosswind component was negligible at 0 kt, while the tailwind component was minimal at 1 kt.
The overall performance of the aircraft during the landing phase was outstanding, with a score of 97.8%. The rollout phase was also executed smoothly, with the aircraft maintaining its centreline alignment and coming to a stop within a short distance. The pilot's skill and experience were evident throughout the approach, touchdown, and rollout phases, resulting in a safe and successful landing.
